تكثف السعودية استعداداتها المبكرة لاستضافة المنتدى العالمي للمياه 2027، من خلال التحضير لعقد الاجتماع التشاوري الثاني الذي يُعد خطوة محورية في مسار الإعداد لهذا الحدث العالمي البارز، ويشارك في الاجتماع نخبة من الخبراء، وصناع القرار من مختلف أنحاء العالم، إضافة إلى ممثلي الجهات الحكومية، والقطاع الخاص، والمنظمات الدولية.
ويهدف الاجتماع إلى توحيد الرؤى، وتنسيق الجهود بين مختلف الأطراف المعنية، وبحث الأولويات والمحاور الرئيسة للمنتدى العالمي، إلى جانب مناقشة الأطر التنظيمية والفنية، وآليات الشراكة والتعاون، بما يضمن تقديم نسخة نوعية تعكس مكانة المملكة ودورها القيادي في قضايا المياه.
ويعكس هذا التحرك المبكر، وتكثيف الجهود للاستعداد لاستضافة هذا الحدث العالمي الكبير؛ التزام المملكة بنهج العمل التشاركي، وتعزيز الحوار الدولي حول التحديات المائية، وتقديم حلول عملية ومستدامة تسهم في دعم الأمن المائي على مستوى العالم.
يُذكر، أن المنتدى العالمي الحادي عشر للمياه سيعقد في مارس 2027 في الرياض تحت شعار «العمل لغدٍ أفضل»؛ بالتعاون مع المجلس العالمي للمياه، ومشاركة واسعة من القطاعين العام والخاص، والمنظمات الدولية والمحلية، ونخبة من الخبراء والمسؤولين والمهتمين بقضايا المياه محليًا ودولياً، ويعد الحدث الأكبر والأهم في مجال إدارة المياه عالميًا، حيث يوفر منصة لتبادل الأفكار والمعرفة والتعاون بين الأطراف المعنية حول العالم، ويتيح الفرص لطرح أفضل الممارسات الدولية، وإيجاد سبل التعاون لضمان الإدارة المستدامة لموارد المياه على مستوى العالم.
Saudi Arabia is intensifying its early preparations to host the World Water Forum 2027 by preparing for the second consultative meeting, which is a pivotal step in the preparation for this prominent global event. The meeting will involve a select group of experts and decision-makers from around the world, in addition to representatives from government entities, the private sector, and international organizations.
The aim of the meeting is to unify visions, coordinate efforts among various stakeholders, and discuss the priorities and main themes of the World Forum, along with discussing regulatory and technical frameworks, and mechanisms for partnership and cooperation, ensuring a high-quality edition that reflects the Kingdom's status and its leadership role in water issues.
This early move and intensified efforts to prepare for hosting this major global event reflect the Kingdom's commitment to a collaborative approach, enhancing international dialogue on water challenges, and providing practical and sustainable solutions that contribute to supporting water security worldwide.
It is worth noting that the 11th World Water Forum will be held in March 2027 in Riyadh under the slogan "Working for a Better Tomorrow"; in collaboration with the World Water Council, and with broad participation from both the public and private sectors, as well as international and local organizations, and a select group of experts, officials, and stakeholders in water issues locally and internationally. This event is the largest and most important in the field of water management globally, providing a platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge, and cooperation among stakeholders around the world, and offering opportunities to present the best international practices and find ways to ensure the sustainable management of water resources globally.
