توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الخميس)، استمرار فرصة هطول أمطار رعدية وتكوّن الضباب على أجزاء من مرتفعات مناطق نجران، جازان، عسير، الباحة، ومكة المكرمة، في حين تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق خاصة الشرقية منها، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقتي الرياض والشرقية.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية شرقية إلى شمالية غربية تتحول بعد الظهيرة شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وشمالية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 20-45 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين يصل إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الأوسط، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج على الجزء الأوسط.
وفي الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather conditions for today (Thursday) that there will be continued chances of thunderstorms and fog formation over parts of the highlands in the regions of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Meanwhile, active winds that stir up dust and sand will affect parts of those regions, especially the eastern parts, as well as parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are north-easterly to north-westerly, shifting after noon to north-westerly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and north-westerly in the southern part at speeds of 20-45 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h in the central part. The wave height ranges from one to two meters, reaching two and a half meters in the central part, and the sea condition is moderate with waves becoming rough in the central part.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds are north-westerly to northerly at speeds of 20-40 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one to two meters, and the sea condition is moderate.
