أعرب وزير البلديات والإسكان ماجد عبدالله الحقيل، عن شكره لمجلس الوزراء على إشادته ببرنامج الإسكان، معتبراً ذلك تأكيداً على اهتمام الدولة الكبير بقطاع الإسكان باعتباره ركيزة من ركائز التنمية الشاملة.
وأشار الوزير الحقيل إلى أن الجهود المبذولة ضمن البرنامج أسهمت في رفع نسبة تملك المواطنين للمساكن إلى 66.2% بنهاية 2025م، إضافة إلى تجاوز عدد المستفيدين من الدعم السكني مليون مستفيد، وهو ما يعكس تكامل العمل بين منظومة الإسكان والجهات ذات العلاقة.
وأكد الحقيل أن تقدير مجلس الوزراء يشكل حافزاً لمواصلة تطوير المبادرات، التي تمكّن المواطنين من الحصول على السكن الملائم وتعزز استدامة القطاع. كما شدد على استمرار العمل في تنويع الحلول السكنية والخيارات التمويلية والتنظيمية بما يرفع جودة الحياة ويتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 ويلبّي تطلعات المواطنين في مختلف المناطق.
The Minister of Municipal and Housing Affairs, Majid Abdullah Al-Huqail, expressed his gratitude to the Council of Ministers for its praise of the housing program, considering it a confirmation of the state's significant interest in the housing sector as a cornerstone of comprehensive development.
Minister Al-Huqail pointed out that the efforts made within the program have contributed to raising the homeownership rate among citizens to 66.2% by the end of 2025, in addition to exceeding the number of beneficiaries of housing support to over one million, which reflects the integration of work between the housing system and related entities.
Al-Huqail affirmed that the Council of Ministers' appreciation serves as an incentive to continue developing initiatives that enable citizens to obtain suitable housing and enhance the sustainability of the sector. He also emphasized the ongoing work to diversify housing solutions and financing and regulatory options to improve quality of life, align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and meet the aspirations of citizens in various regions.
