تلقى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، اتصالاً هاتفياً، أمس، من رئيس الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية الدكتور مسعود بزشکيان.
وفي بداية الاتصال، أوضح الرئيس الإيراني مستجدات الأوضاع في إيران، واستعرض جهود الحكومة الإيرانية في هذا الشأن، كما استعرض الرئيس الإيراني مستجدات المباحثات بشأن الملف النووي.
من جانبه، أكد ولي العهد، خلال الاتصال، موقف المملكة في احترام سيادة الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، وأن المملكة لن تسمح باستخدام أجوائها أو أراضيها في أي أعمال عسكرية ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية أو أي هجمات من أي جهة كانت بغض النظر عن وجهتها.
كما أكد ولي العهد للرئيس الإيراني دعم المملكة لأي جهود من شأنها حل الخلافات بالحوار بما يعزز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
من جهته، أعرب الرئيس الإيراني عن شكره للمملكة على موقفها الثابت في احترام سيادة الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية وسلامة أراضيها، وتقديره للدور الذي يقوم به ولي العهد من جهود ومساعٍ لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call yesterday from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
At the beginning of the call, the Iranian president clarified the latest developments in Iran and reviewed the efforts of the Iranian government in this regard. He also discussed the latest developments in the negotiations concerning the nuclear file.
For his part, the Crown Prince affirmed during the call the Kingdom's position in respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that the Kingdom will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any attacks from any party, regardless of their direction.
The Crown Prince also assured the Iranian president of the Kingdom's support for any efforts aimed at resolving disputes through dialogue, which would enhance security and stability in the region.
For his part, the Iranian president expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for its steadfast position in respecting the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the integrity of its territory, and he appreciated the role played by the Crown Prince in efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
