أكد وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان أن علاقات السعودية بالإمارات تعد مهمة للاستقرار الإقليمي، مشيراً إلى أهمية توافر علاقة قوية وإيجابية مع الإمارات.
وأوضح الأمير فيصل بن فرحان خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده مع نظيره البولندي رادوسلاف سيكورسكي في بولندا اليوم (الإثنين) أن هناك اختلافات في الرؤى مع الإمارات بشأن اليمن، وقال: «الإمارات قررت الخروج من اليمن بشكل كامل، وأعتقد أن هذا الأمر أساسي لاستمرار العلاقات القوية مع الإمارات».
وكان وزير الخارجية قد استعرض مع نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير خارجية جمهورية بولندا رادوسلاف سيكورسكي العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين وسبل تعزيزها وتنميتها في مختلف المجالات، إضافة إلى بحث التطورات السياسية وعدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والجهود المبذولة لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي، وعقب اللقاء وقعا اتفاقية بين حكومة المملكة وحكومة جمهورية بولندا بشأن الإعفاء المتبادل من التأشيرات لحاملي جوازات السفر الدبلوماسية والخدمة والخاصة، وذلك تعزيزاً للمصالح المشتركة المترتبة على الإعفاء، ووفقاً للقوانين المعمول بها في كلا البلدين.
ويأتي توقيع مذكرة إنشاء المجلس التنسيقي في إطار توجيهات قيادتي البلدين الصديقين وحرصهما على توطيد وتعزيز علاقات الصداقة والتعاون المشترك، كما يهدف المجلس إلى تكثيف التعاون الثنائي عبر التشاور والتنسيق على مختلف الأصعدة، واستكشاف فرص التعاون في مختلف المجالات بما يحقق تطلعات الشعبين الصديقين، وينقل العلاقات نحو آفاق أرحب.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan confirmed that Saudi Arabia's relations with the UAE are important for regional stability, pointing to the significance of having a strong and positive relationship with the UAE.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan explained during a press conference held with his Polish counterpart, Radosław Sikorski, in Poland today (Monday) that there are differences in views with the UAE regarding Yemen. He said: "The UAE has decided to completely withdraw from Yemen, and I believe this is essential for the continuation of strong relations with the UAE."
The Foreign Minister reviewed with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing political developments and several issues of mutual interest, as well as the efforts made to achieve regional and international security and stability. Following the meeting, they signed an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom and the Government of the Republic of Poland regarding the mutual exemption from visas for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports, in order to enhance the common interests resulting from the exemption, and in accordance with the laws in force in both countries.
The signing of the memorandum to establish the coordinating council comes within the framework of the directives of the leaderships of the two friendly countries and their keenness to strengthen and enhance the relations of friendship and joint cooperation. The council aims to intensify bilateral cooperation through consultation and coordination on various levels, and to explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples, and to elevate the relations to broader horizons.
