سجّلت تبوك أقل درجة حرارة في السعودية أمس (الأربعاء)، بواقع 3 درجات مئوية، تلاها طريف بـ 4 درجات مئوية، و عرعر 6 درجات مئوية، وتستعد أجواء المملكة لاستقبال موجة هوائية باردة وانخفاض ملموس في درجات الحرارة بدأت أمس (الأربعاء ) وتستمر 4 أيام تنتهي السبت القادم.
وتشمل الموجة الباردة 8 مناطق رئيسية، إذ تبدأ الموجة القطبية من الشمال وتمتد تدريجيًا نحو منطقتي الرياض والشرقية، وسط تحذيرات رسمية بضرورة أخذ الحيطة، حيث يُتوقع أن تكسر درجات الحرارة حاجز الصفر المئوي في بعض المناطق الشمالية.
وتتأثر مناطق تبوك، والجوف، والحدود الشمالية، وحائل، إضافة إلى شمال منطقة المدينة المنورة، بشكل مباشر بهذه الكتلة الهوائية الباردة ابتداءً من منتصف الأسبوع الحالي.

تشهد المناطق الشمالية انخفاضًا حادًا، حيث تتراوح درجات الحرارة الصغرى ما بين 3 درجات مئوية وصولًا إلى درجة واحدة تحت الصفر، مما ينذر بتشكل الصقيع في ساعات الفجر الأولى، تمتد آثار الموجة الباردة خلال يومي الجمعة والسبت لتشمل مناطق وسط وشرق المملكة .
و تسود ذات الحالة المناخية على منطقة القصيم والأجزاء الشمالية من منطقتي الرياض والشرقية خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع.

حذّر المتحدث الرسمي للمركز الوطني للأرصاد حسين القحطاني من موجة برد متوقعة، مشيراً إلى أنه من المتوقع انخفاض يتراوح من 3 درجات إلى -1 مئوية. و المناطق الأبرد تشمل تبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية وحائل وشمال منطقة المدينة المنورة، داعياً إلى أخذ الحيطة والاستعداد للتغيرات الجوية المصاحبة.

Tabuk recorded the lowest temperature in Saudi Arabia yesterday (Wednesday), at 3 degrees Celsius, followed by Turaif at 4 degrees Celsius, and Arar at 6 degrees Celsius. The weather in the Kingdom is preparing to welcome a cold air wave and a noticeable drop in temperatures that began yesterday (Wednesday) and will last for 4 days, ending next Saturday.
The cold wave includes 8 main regions, starting from the north and gradually extending towards the Riyadh and Eastern regions, amid official warnings to take precautions, as temperatures are expected to drop below zero degrees Celsius in some northern areas.
The regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, and Ha'il, in addition to the northern part of the Medina region, will be directly affected by this cold air mass starting from the middle of this week.

The northern regions are experiencing a sharp drop, with minimum temperatures ranging from 3 degrees Celsius down to 1 degree below zero, which raises the possibility of frost forming in the early morning hours. The effects of the cold wave will extend over Friday and Saturday to include central and eastern regions of the Kingdom.
The same climatic conditions will prevail in the Qassim region and the northern parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions during the weekend.
