أعرب وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو، عن تقدير بلاده للجهود الدبلوماسية للمملكة العربية السعودية ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الرامية إلى تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار ودفع مسار التهدئة والتقدّم بالعملية السياسية في الجمهورية اليمنية.
وقال، في تصريح له أمس، إن الولايات المتحدة تدعو إلى ضبط النفس ومواصلة الجهود الدبلوماسية بهدف التوصل إلى حل دائم في اليمن، مؤكداً دعم الولايات المتحدة لجهود السعودية والإمارات، الهادفة إلى تعزيز المصالح الأمنية المشتركة.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed his country's appreciation for the diplomatic efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates aimed at enhancing security and stability, and advancing the path of de-escalation and progress in the political process in the Republic of Yemen.
He stated in a statement yesterday that the United States calls for restraint and the continuation of diplomatic efforts to reach a lasting solution in Yemen, affirming the United States' support for the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which aim to enhance shared security interests.
