توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس هذا اليوم (الأربعاء)، هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من مناطق الرياض، الشرقية، الحدود الشمالية، في حين تكون متوسطة على أجزاء من مناطق تبوك، الجوف، حائل، القصيم مع فرصة تكون الضباب على أجزاء من تلك المناطق.
وأشار المركز، إلى احتمالية تساقط الثلوج الخفيفة وتكون الصقيع على أجزاء من مرتفعات منطقتي تبوك وحائل، وكذلك على الأجزاء الشمالية الشرقية من مرتفعات منطقة المدينة المنورة، كما تكون السماء غائمة جزئيًا إلى غائمة يتخللها سحب رعدية ممطرة على الأجزاء الغربية والجنوبية الغربية من المملكة.
وبين أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر، شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 25-50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وبسرعة 12-32 كم/ساعة على الجزء الجنوبي تصل إلى 60كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى مترين ونصف مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
وعلى الخليج العربي ستكون حركة الرياح السطحية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 15-40 كم/ساعة تصل إلى أكثر من 60 كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Wednesday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions, while moderate rainfall is expected in parts of the Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Ha'il, and Qassim regions, with a chance of fog formation in parts of those areas.
The center indicated the possibility of light snow and frost formation in parts of the highlands of the Tabuk and Ha'il regions, as well as in the northeastern parts of the highlands of the Madinah region. The sky will be partly to mostly cloudy, with thunderstorm clouds bringing rain over the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom.
It was noted that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and at a speed of 12-32 km/h in the southern part, reaching up to 60 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain in the southern part. The wave height will range from one and a half meters to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain. The sea condition will be moderate to rough in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate, reaching rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface wind movement will be westerly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-40 km/h, reaching over 60 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain. The wave height will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching over two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain. The sea condition will be light to moderate, reaching rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds bringing rain.
