رفع وزير الاستثمار فهد بن عبدالجليل السيف شكره لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ولولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود؛ بمناسبة موافقة مجلس الوزراء على مزاولة الأنشطة المالية عبر الحدود، وذلك عن طريق ترخيص المقرات الإقليمية للمؤسسات المالية المرخصة من وزارة الاستثمار، ومنح تلك المؤسسات المالية الحوافز الممنوحة للبرنامج السعودي لجذب المقرات الإقليمية.
تحقيق المستهدفات الإستراتيجية
وأكد السيف أن الموافقة تعكس حرص القيادة على تطوير البيئة الاستثمارية، وتعزيز كفاءة الاستثمار؛ بما يسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات الاستراتيجية الوطنية للاستثمار، ويعزز جذب الاستثمارات النوعية إلى القطاع المالي، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء السعودية «واس».
واعتبر السيف أن هذه المبادرة تجسد استمرار المملكة في ترسيخ مكانتها وجهةً عالميةً للاستثمار، من خلال توفير بيئة أعمال أكثر كفاءة ومرونة وتنافسية، تعزز قدرتها على جذب الشركات العالمية وتمكينها من التوسع إقليمياً انطلاقاً من المملكة.
Minister of Investment Fahd bin Abduljalil Al-Saif expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; on the occasion of the Cabinet's approval for conducting cross-border financial activities, through the licensing of regional headquarters for financial institutions licensed by the Ministry of Investment, and granting those financial institutions the incentives provided by the Saudi program to attract regional headquarters.
Achieving Strategic Targets
Al-Saif emphasized that the approval reflects the leadership's commitment to developing the investment environment and enhancing investment efficiency; contributing to achieving the targets of the National Investment Strategy, and enhancing the attraction of quality investments to the financial sector, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA".
Al-Saif considered this initiative as a manifestation of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to establish its position as a global investment destination, by providing a more efficient, flexible, and competitive business environment that enhances its ability to attract global companies and enable them to expand regionally from the Kingdom.
