واصلت أسعار الذهب الانخفاض، اليوم، مع ارتفاع الدولار وعوائد سندات الخزانة الأمريكية، مع ترقب المستثمرين صدور محضر اجتماع مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي (البنك المركزي الأمريكي) لشهر يونيو الماضي بحثا عن دلائل حول توجه السياسة النقدية للمحافظ الجديد كيفن وارش.
وتراجع الذهب في المعاملات الفورية 0.9% إلى 4,127.59 دولار للأوقية، في حين انخفضت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم أغسطس القادم 0.7% إلى 4,139.50 دولار..
تراجع قليل
وقال المحلل في إحدى الشركات المتخصصة مات سبمبسون: «سجل الذهب انتعاشا جيدا الأسبوع الماضي، لذا فليس غريبا أن يتراجع قليلا عن بعض تلك المكاسب في بداية هذا الأسبوع».
وقال المحلل نيكولاس فرابل: «من الواضح أن الأسواق تنتظر بعض الإرشاد من محضر اجتماع مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي لتكوين فكرة أوضح حول طريقة تفكير البنك المركزي بشأن سياسة أسعار الفائدة في الأجل القصير».
Gold prices continued to decline today, with the rise of the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields, as investors await the release of the minutes from the Federal Reserve's (U.S. Central Bank) June meeting in search of clues about the monetary policy direction of the new governor, Kevin Warsh.
Gold fell in spot transactions by 0.9% to $4,127.59 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures for August delivery dropped by 0.7% to $4,139.50.
Minor Decline
Analyst Matt Spmpson from a specialized firm stated, "Gold had a good recovery last week, so it's not surprising that it is pulling back a bit from some of those gains at the beginning of this week."
Analyst Nicholas Frabel said, "It is clear that the markets are waiting for some guidance from the Federal Reserve's minutes to form a clearer idea about the central bank's thinking regarding short-term interest rate policy."
