وقّع اتحاد الغرف السعودية واتحاد غرف التجارة والبورصات التركية (TOBB) في العاصمة التركية أنقرة، مذكرة تفاهم لتأسيس المنتدى السعودي التركي للغرف (TSCF)، وذلك على هامش أعمال الاجتماع الـ40 لمجلس إدارة الغرفة الإسلامية للتجارة والتنمية.
ووقّع المذكرة عن الجانب السعودي رئيس اتحاد الغرف السعودية عبدالله صالح كامل، وعن الجانب التركي رئيس اتحاد الغرف والبورصات التركية رفعت حصار جيكلي أوغلو.
وتهدف المذكرة إلى إنشاء إطار مؤسسي دائم لتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي بين القطاع الخاص في المملكة وتركيا، وتطوير الحوار التجاري والاستثماري، بما يسهم في تنمية التبادل التجاري، وتحفيز الاستثمارات المشتركة، وبناء شراكات مستدامة بين مجتمعي الأعمال في البلدين.
وتشمل مجالات التعاون بحسب بنود المذكرة تعزيز الحوار الاقتصادي والتجاري، وتيسير التبادل التجاري والاستثمار الثنائي وتبادل المعلومات والخبرات، وتنظيم البعثات الفنية والبرامج التدريبية والمؤتمرات والمنتديات الاقتصادية.
كما ينص الاتفاق على عقد منتدى سعودي تركي للحوار التجاري بصورة دورية، وبناء شبكة تعاون بين الغرف التجارية في البلدين، وإعداد الدراسات والإصدارات الاقتصادية، وتعزيز التعاون في قطاعات النقل، والخدمات اللوجستية، والبنية التحتية، والملاحة البحرية، والطيران، بما يدعم سلاسل الإمداد ويعزز التكامل الاقتصادي.
وبموجب المذكرة، يتولى المنتدى تنسيق التعاون بين القطاع الخاص في البلدين من خلال مجلس إدارة مشترك يضم 10 أعضاء، برئاسة مشتركة من الجانبين، فيما تتولى الأمانتان العامتان للاتحادين مهمات الأمانة العامة، على أن يعقد مجلس الإدارة اجتماعين سنوياً بالتناوب بين المملكة وتركيا، فيما يعقد المنتدى مرة واحدة على الأقل كل عام.
ويأتي تأسيس المنتدى السعودي التركي للغرف امتداداً للتطور المتسارع الذي تشهده العلاقات الاقتصادية السعودية التركية، بما يوفر إطاراً مؤسسياً دائماً لتعزيز التعاون بين قطاعي الأعمال، وتوسيع الشراكات التجارية والاستثمارية، والاستفادة من الفرص الاقتصادية الواعدة في البلدين.
ويمثل اتحاد غرف التجارة والبورصات التركية (TOBB) المظلة الرئيسية للقطاع الخاص التركي، ويضم أكثر من 1.5 مليون شركة ومؤسسة عبر 365 غرفة تجارة وصناعة وبورصة سلعية، كما يقود مجالس أعمال دولية مع عدد من الدول، ويضطلع بدور محوري في تنمية العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية لتركيا على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.
The Saudi Chambers Federation and the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) signed a memorandum of understanding in the Turkish capital, Ankara, to establish the Saudi-Turkish Forum for Chambers (TSCF), on the sidelines of the 40th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development.
The memorandum was signed on the Saudi side by the President of the Saudi Chambers Federation, Abdullah Saleh Kamel, and on the Turkish side by the President of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, Refat Hisarcıklıoğlu.
The memorandum aims to create a permanent institutional framework to enhance economic cooperation between the private sectors of the Kingdom and Turkey, and to develop trade and investment dialogue, contributing to the growth of trade exchange, stimulating joint investments, and building sustainable partnerships between the business communities of the two countries.
The areas of cooperation, according to the memorandum's provisions, include enhancing economic and trade dialogue, facilitating trade exchange and bilateral investment, exchanging information and experiences, organizing technical missions, training programs, conferences, and economic forums.
The agreement also stipulates the holding of a Saudi-Turkish forum for trade dialogue periodically, building a cooperation network between the chambers of commerce in both countries, preparing studies and economic publications, and enhancing cooperation in the sectors of transport, logistics services, infrastructure, maritime navigation, and aviation, which supports supply chains and enhances economic integration.
Under the memorandum, the forum will coordinate cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries through a joint board of directors consisting of 10 members, co-chaired by both sides, while the general secretariats of the two federations will undertake the tasks of the general secretariat. The board of directors will hold two meetings annually, alternating between the Kingdom and Turkey, while the forum will meet at least once a year.
The establishment of the Saudi-Turkish Forum for Chambers comes as an extension of the rapid development witnessed in Saudi-Turkish economic relations, providing a permanent institutional framework to enhance cooperation between the business sectors, expand trade and investment partnerships, and benefit from promising economic opportunities in both countries.
The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) represents the main umbrella for the Turkish private sector, encompassing more than 1.5 million companies and institutions across 365 chambers of commerce, industry, and commodity exchanges. It also leads international business councils with several countries and plays a pivotal role in developing Turkey's economic and trade relations at the regional and international levels.
