استقر الذهب اليوم، لكنه يظل في طريقه لتسجيل أقوى مكاسبه السنوية منذ أكثر من أربعة عقود، بينما تراجعت بقية المعادن النفيسة مع اتجاه المستثمرين لجني الأرباح بعد ارتفاعات قياسية.
واستقر الذهب في المعاملات الفورية عند (4345.75) دولار للأوقية بحلول الساعة (04:04) بتوقيت غرينتش، بعد أن سجل مستوى قياسيًا بلغ (4549.71) دولار يوم الجمعة. وانخفضت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم فبراير بنسبة (0.5%) إلى (4365) دولارًا للأوقية.
وارتفع الذهب بنحو (66%) خلال عام (2025)، محققًا أكبر مكاسب سنوية منذ عام (1979)، مدفوعًا بتخفيضات أسعار الفائدة، والتوقعات بمزيد من التيسير النقدي من مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي، إضافة إلى التوترات الجيوسياسية، والطلب القوي من البنوك المركزية، وزيادة حيازات الصناديق المتداولة.
وانخفضت الفضة بنسبة (4.5%) إلى (73.06) دولار للأوقية، رغم ارتفاعها بأكثر من (150%) منذ بداية العام، متجهة لتسجيل أفضل أداء سنوي على الإطلاق.
وتراجع البلاتين بنسبة (12%) إلى (1932.55) دولار، وانخفض البلاديوم بنسبة (7.1%) إلى (1496.75) دولار، لكنه يتجه لإنهاء العام مرتفعًا بنحو (65%)، وهو أفضل أداء له منذ (15) عامًا.
Gold stabilized today, but it remains on track to record its strongest annual gains in over four decades, while other precious metals declined as investors sought to take profits after record highs.
Gold held steady in spot transactions at (4345.75) dollars per ounce by (04:04) GMT, after reaching a record level of (4549.71) dollars on Friday. U.S. gold futures for February delivery fell by (0.5%) to (4365) dollars per ounce.
Gold has risen by about (66%) during the year (2025), achieving its largest annual gains since (1979), driven by interest rate cuts, expectations of further monetary easing from the Federal Reserve, as well as geopolitical tensions, strong demand from central banks, and increased holdings in exchange-traded funds.
Silver fell by (4.5%) to (73.06) dollars per ounce, despite rising by more than (150%) since the beginning of the year, heading for its best annual performance ever.
Platinum dropped by (12%) to (1932.55) dollars, and palladium decreased by (7.1%) to (1496.75) dollars, but it is set to end the year up by about (65%), marking its best performance in (15) years.
