أعلنت الهيئة السعودية لتنظيم الكهرباء، بعد التحقق من استقرار الخدمة، استعادة الخدمة الكهربائية بالكامل لجميع المستهلكين المتأثرين بالانقطاع الذي وقع على أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية أمس (الخميس) 18 ديسمبر، الذي بدأ عند الساعة 2:09 مساءً، وتمت إعادة التيار عند الساعة 5:49 مساءً.
وأكدت الهيئة مباشرتها مهماتها الرقابية فور وقوع الانقطاع، حيث وجّهت الشركة السعودية للكهرباء بإجراء تحقيق فني وتشغيلي عاجل لتحديد الأسباب التي أدت إلى هذا الانقطاع، ورفع تقرير مفصل بنتائج التحقيق، والإجراءات التصحيحية المتخذة، بما يسهم في الحد من تكرار مثل هذه الحالات مستقبلاً.
وأشارت إلى أنها ستتحقق من مدى التزام مقدم الخدمة بدليل معايير مستوى الخدمة الكهربائية (المعايير المضمونة)، واتخاذ ما يلزم حيال أي إخلال بتلك المعايير، بما في ذلك تعويض المستهلكين المستحقين تلقائياً دون الحاجة إلى تقديم مطالبة.
وأوضحت الهيئة السعودية لتنظيم الكهرباء أن هذه الإجراءات تأتي في إطار دورها النظامي في تنظيم قطاع الكهرباء، ومتابعة أداء مقدمي الخدمة، وحماية حقوق المستهلكين، وتعزيز موثوقية الإمداد الكهربائي في جميع مناطق المملكة.
The Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority announced, after verifying the stability of the service, the complete restoration of electrical service for all consumers affected by the outage that occurred in parts of the Eastern Province yesterday (Thursday) December 18, which began at 2:09 PM and the power was restored at 5:49 PM.
The Authority confirmed that it immediately began its oversight tasks upon the occurrence of the outage, directing the Saudi Electricity Company to conduct an urgent technical and operational investigation to determine the causes that led to this outage, and to submit a detailed report on the investigation results and the corrective actions taken, which will help reduce the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
It noted that it will verify the extent of the service provider's compliance with the Electric Service Level Standards (guaranteed standards), and take necessary actions regarding any violations of those standards, including automatically compensating eligible consumers without the need to submit a claim.
The Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority clarified that these measures come within the framework of its regulatory role in organizing the electricity sector, monitoring the performance of service providers, protecting consumer rights, and enhancing the reliability of electricity supply in all regions of the Kingdom.
