واصلت الخدمات اللوجستية في السعودية نموها القياسي، إذ ارتفع عدد المراكز اللوجستية المفعلة في المملكة إلى 23 مركزاً وفقاً لما أكدته الهيئة العامة للإحصاء، بإجمالي مساحة بلغت 34.6 مليون متر مربع، إذ سجلت منطقة مكة المكرمة أعلى مساحة للمراكز اللوجستية بواقع 20.4 مليون متر مربع موزعة على 6 مراكز لوجستية.
وتوزعت بحسب نوع الاستخدام إلى 6 أنواع، جاءت المدن الصناعية في مقدّمتها بـ15 مركزاً تمثّل نحو 44.1% من إجمالي الأنواع، تلتها مراكز التوزيع الداخلية بعدد 9 مراكز، ثم المراكز اللوجستية في الموانئ بعدد 4 مراكز.
توصيل الطلبات
وفي نشاط توصيل الطلبات، تجاوز عدد الطلبات المنفذة في عام نحو 290 مليون طلب، محقّقاً نمواً سنوياً في عام 2024 بنسبة 27.2%، في وقت انخفض فيه متوسط مدة التوصيل من 45 دقيقة إلى 35 دقيقة، وعلى صعيد القوى العاملة، بلغ عدد السائقين السعوديين النشطين أكثر من 140 ألف سائق، بارتفاع نسبته 21%، فيما تجاوز عدد السائقين غير السعوديين 302 ألف سائق، مسجلاً نمواً بنسبة 5% مقارنة بالعام السابق.
كما شهد عام 2024م ارتفاعاً في عدد تراخيص التخليص الجمركي السارية في مختلف المنافذ، إذ بلغ عدد التراخيص في المنافذ البحرية بنهاية العام 1179 رخصة، بزيادة نسبتها 26.1% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2023م، فيما ارتفع عدد التراخيص السارية في المنافذ البرية إلى 465 رخصة، وبلغ عدد التراخيص في المنافذ الجوية 722 رخصة.
المستودعات المرخصة
وأظهرت الإحصاءات أن إجمالي عدد المستودعات التجارية المرخصة في المملكة بلغ 12234 مستودعاً، بإجمالي مساحة 22 مليون متر مربع، موزعة على مختلف المناطق الإدارية. وجاءت منطقة الرياض في الصدارة بـ6763 مستودعاً تجارياً، وبمساحة إجمالية بلغت 10.7 مليون متر مربع، تمثل نحو 55.3% من إجمالي المستودعات التجارية المرخصة في المملكة، كما بلغ عدد المستودعات الإنشائية 1189 مستودعاً، بمساحة إجمالية وصلت إلى 7.5 مليون متر مربع.
وفي جانب حركة الشحن، بلغت كمية الشحن الصادرة والواردة داخلياً ودولياً عبر النقل البحري نحو 331.3 مليون طن، فيما سجّلت الشحنات الدولية عبر المنافذ البرية 25.7 مليون طن، وبلغت كمية الشحن الداخلي عبر السكك الحديدية 15.6 مليون طن، في حين وصلت كمية الشحن الجوي الصادر والوارد والعابر إلى 1.2 مليون طن خلال عام 2024م.

Logistics services in Saudi Arabia continued their record growth, as the number of activated logistics centers in the Kingdom rose to 23 centers, according to the General Authority for Statistics, with a total area of 34.6 million square meters. The Makkah region recorded the highest area for logistics centers at 20.4 million square meters distributed across 6 logistics centers.
The centers were categorized by type of use into 6 types, with industrial cities leading the way with 15 centers, representing about 44.1% of the total types, followed by internal distribution centers with 9 centers, and then logistics centers at ports with 4 centers.
Order Delivery
In the order delivery activity, the number of executed orders in a year exceeded 290 million orders, achieving an annual growth rate of 27.2% in 2024, while the average delivery time decreased from 45 minutes to 35 minutes. Regarding the workforce, the number of active Saudi drivers exceeded 140,000, marking an increase of 21%, while the number of non-Saudi drivers surpassed 302,000, recording a growth rate of 5% compared to the previous year.
The year 2024 also witnessed an increase in the number of valid customs clearance licenses at various ports, as the number of licenses at maritime ports reached 1,179 by the end of the year, an increase of 26.1% compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, the number of valid licenses at land ports rose to 465, and the number of licenses at air ports reached 722.
Licensed Warehouses
Statistics showed that the total number of licensed commercial warehouses in the Kingdom reached 12,234 warehouses, with a total area of 22 million square meters, distributed across various administrative regions. The Riyadh region topped the list with 6,763 commercial warehouses, with a total area of 10.7 million square meters, representing about 55.3% of the total licensed commercial warehouses in the Kingdom. The number of construction warehouses reached 1,189, with a total area of 7.5 million square meters.
In terms of shipping activity, the volume of cargo shipped in and out, both domestically and internationally via maritime transport, reached approximately 331.3 million tons, while international shipments through land ports recorded 25.7 million tons. The volume of domestic cargo via railways reached 15.6 million tons, while the volume of air cargo, both incoming and outgoing, reached 1.2 million tons during the year 2024.
