أعلن وزير قطاع الأعمال المصري محمد شيمي أنه يجري تنفيذ إستراتيجية قومية لدعم الصناعة المحلية للغزل والنسيج في مصر.
وقال الوزير في مقابلة مع «العربية Business» إنه يتم حالياً العمل على المرحلة الثانية التي ستكتمل قبل نهاية العام الحالي، والتي تشكل 40% من إنتاج الغزل في مصر.
وأوضح أن الغزل والنسيج هو المشروع القومي في مصر، موضحاً أنه تم دمج 32 شركة غزل ونسيج في 7 شركات بغرض تحقيق تحديث الأصول والقيام بالاستغلال الأمثل لها.
عائد مأمول
وأشار إلى أنه جارٍ التفاوض مع جهات عالمية للحصول على أعلى مستوى من الإدارة والتشغيل للأصول، بحيث تحقق للدولة العائد المأمول من هذه الاستثمارات الكبرى.
وأضاف: «نحن منفتحون للعمل مع الشركات العالمية والقطاع الخاص المصري، ومعاييرنا واضحة لكل جهة تريد العمل».
وأفاد بأن هناك شركات تابعة لقطاع الأعمال العام قد عادت للحياة مرة أخرى.
The Egyptian Minister of Public Business Sector, Mohamed Shimi, announced that a national strategy is being implemented to support the local textile and spinning industry in Egypt.
The minister stated in an interview with "Al Arabiya Business" that work is currently underway on the second phase, which will be completed before the end of this year, and which constitutes 40% of the spinning production in Egypt.
He explained that spinning and textiles is the national project in Egypt, noting that 32 spinning and textile companies have been merged into 7 companies with the aim of modernizing the assets and optimizing their utilization.
Expected Returns
He pointed out that negotiations are ongoing with international entities to obtain the highest level of management and operation for the assets, so that the state can achieve the expected returns from these major investments.
He added, "We are open to working with global companies and the Egyptian private sector, and our criteria are clear for any entity that wants to collaborate."
He indicated that there are companies affiliated with the public business sector that have come back to life again.
