أعلنت إدارة المباحث الجنائية بوزارة الداخلية السورية نجاحها في فك لغز سرقة منزل الفنانة السورية منى واصف، بعد تحقيقات قادت إلى توقيف رجل وزوجته، تبين أنهما نفذا الجريمة مستغلين امتلاكهما نسخة من مفاتيح المنزل.
اكتشاف السرقة
وأوضحت منى واصف، في تسجيل نشرته وزارة الداخلية، أنها اكتشفت الواقعة فور عودتها من لبنان قبل أيام من عيد الأضحى، حيث وجدت المنزل في حالة فوضى، قبل أن تتأكد من اختفاء وسرقة مبالغ مالية كبيرة بالعملات الأجنبية تقدر 185 ألف دولار أمريكي و100 ألف درهم إماراتي، إلى جانب مشغولات ذهبية محفوظة داخل المنزل.
أدلة جنائية تكشف المتهمين
وكشفت التحقيقات أن المتهمين تمكنا من دخول المنزل دون كسر أو عنف، فيما حاولا تضليل المحققين بإزالة البصمات باستخدام الزيت ومواد تنظيف، إلا أن فرق الأدلة الجنائية نجحت في رصد قرائن مهمة داخل المكان، كان أبرزها أعقاب سجائر ما ساعد في تحديد هوية المتورطين.
اعترافات المتهم
وخلال استجوابه، أقر المتهم بسرقة محتويات الخزنة، معترفًا بأنه أنفق جانبًا من الأموال على شراء عدة عقارات في ريف دمشق، إضافة إلى سيارة من طراز «لاند روفر».
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أن التحقيق اعتمد على تحليل الأدلة الجنائية والتعامل العلمي مع تفاصيل مسرح الجريمة، وهو ما أسهم في كشف الجناة واستعادة جانب من المسروقات.
The Criminal Investigations Department of the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced its success in unraveling the mystery of the theft of the home of Syrian artist Mona Wasef, after investigations led to the arrest of a man and his wife, who turned out to have committed the crime by exploiting their possession of a copy of the house keys.
Discovery of the Theft
Mona Wasef explained, in a recording published by the Ministry of Interior, that she discovered the incident immediately upon her return from Lebanon a few days before Eid al-Adha, where she found the house in disarray, before confirming the disappearance and theft of large sums of money in foreign currencies estimated at 185,000 US dollars and 100,000 UAE dirhams, in addition to gold jewelry stored inside the house.
Forensic Evidence Reveals the Suspects
The investigations revealed that the suspects managed to enter the house without breaking in or using violence, while they attempted to mislead investigators by removing fingerprints using oil and cleaning materials. However, forensic teams succeeded in detecting important clues inside the location, the most notable of which were cigarette butts that helped identify the perpetrators.
Confessions of the Suspect
During his interrogation, the suspect admitted to stealing the contents of the safe, confessing that he spent part of the money on purchasing several properties in the countryside of Damascus, in addition to a "Land Rover" vehicle.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the investigation relied on analyzing forensic evidence and scientifically dealing with the details of the crime scene, which contributed to uncovering the culprits and recovering some of the stolen items.
