نفي الشائعات
وفي تصريح خاص لصحيفة «عكاظ»، نفت صفية العمري تلك الأنباء بشكل قاطع، معربة عن دهشتها من تكرار مثل هذه الشائعات التي تتسبب في إثارة قلق جمهورها ومحبيها.
تحري الدقة
وأكدت الفنانة أنها تتمتع بصحة جيدة، وتقضي وقتها داخل منزلها، مشددة على أن تلك الأنباء المتداولة بشأن وفاتها عارية تمامًا من الصحة، ودعت إلى تحري الدقة وعدم الانسياق وراء الشائعات المتداولة عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
سبب غيابها
وبشأن ابتعادها عن الأعمال الفنية، أكدت العمري أنها لم تتخذ قرارًا باعتزال الفن، مشددة على أن علاقتها بالتمثيل مستمرة ولن تنقطع، وأنها ستظل مرتبطة به طوال حياتها، وتنتظر عملًا جديدًا يحمل فكرة مميزة ودورًا يليق بمشوارها الفني.

ابتعدت صفية العمري عن الساحة الفنية خلال السنوات الأخيرة، وكان آخر ظهور لها في الدراما التلفزيونية عام 2016، عندما شاركت في الجزء السادس من مسلسل «ليالي الحلمية»، الذي جمع عددًا كبيرًا من نجوم الفن المصري.
