بعد أن جاب مدن المملكة من أبها إلى القطيف، يصل مؤتمر النقد السينمائي الدولي إلى محطته الختامية في الرياض، حيث تُنظّمه هيئة الأفلام خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 9 نوفمبر 2025 في قصر الثقافة بحي السفارات، تحت شعار «السينما.. فنّ المكان»، ليواصل رحلته في إثراء المشهد النقدي وتعزيز الحوار السينمائي في المملكة.
ويركّز المؤتمر في نسخته الثالثة على العلاقة بين السينما والمكان، بوصف المكان أحد أهم عناصر السرد البصري والهوية الثقافية في التجربة السينمائية، بعد نجاح محطتيه السابقتين.
ويمتد المؤتمر على ثلاثة أيام، يقدّم خلالها برنامجًا ثقافيًا ثريًا يتضمن جلسات حوارية، وعروضًا تقديمية، وورش عمل (ماستر كلاس)، وعروض أفلام، بمشاركة نخبة من النقّاد وصُنّاع الأفلام من مختلف أنحاء العالم، لاستكشاف حضور المكان في السينما كفضاء بصري وثقافي يعكس الهوية والذاكرة والتحولات الاجتماعية.
وتنسجم فعاليات المؤتمر مع رؤيته الهادفة إلى دعم النقد السينمائي في المملكة من خلال ملتقيات علمية وتفاعلية تجمع بين النقاد وصُنّاع الأفلام، بما يسهم في تعزيز الفهم العميق للأفلام، وتطوير أدوات التحليل النقدي، والمساهمة في تنمية صناعة السينما السعودية عبر حوار فكري وبصري متجدد.
ويؤكد المؤتمر من خلال برامجه المتنوعة التزام هيئة الأفلام بتعزيز الثقافة السينمائية والنقدية، ودعم الحراك الإبداعي الوطني بوصفه جزءًا من منظومة التطور الثقافي والمعرفي التي تشهدها المملكة، وتهيئة بيئة حوارية تُثري الفكر السينمائي وتفتح آفاقًا جديدة أمام النقاد والمبدعين على حد سواء.
After traveling through the cities of the Kingdom from Abha to Al-Qatif, the International Film Criticism Conference reaches its final destination in Riyadh, organized by the Film Authority from November 7 to 9, 2025, at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter, under the slogan "Cinema... The Art of Place." This conference continues its journey to enrich the critical scene and enhance cinematic dialogue in the Kingdom.
The third edition of the conference focuses on the relationship between cinema and place, considering place as one of the most important elements of visual narration and cultural identity in the cinematic experience, following the success of its previous two editions.
The conference spans three days, during which it presents a rich cultural program that includes panel discussions, presentations, masterclasses, and film screenings, featuring a selection of critics and filmmakers from around the world, to explore the presence of place in cinema as a visual and cultural space that reflects identity, memory, and social transformations.
The activities of the conference align with its vision aimed at supporting film criticism in the Kingdom through scientific and interactive forums that bring together critics and filmmakers, contributing to a deeper understanding of films, developing critical analysis tools, and fostering the growth of the Saudi film industry through renewed intellectual and visual dialogue.
