تحت رعاية ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، تنطلق بعد غدٍ الاثنين أعمال الدورة الأولى من مؤتمر الاستثمار الثقافي 2025، الذي تنظمه وزارة الثقافة تحت شعار «من ثقافتنا نبني اقتصادنا»، وذلك على مدار يومين في مركز الملك فهد الثقافي بالرياض، بحضور وزير الثقافة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، ونخبة من المستثمرين العالميين، وصنّاع القرار، وقادة الثقافة، وممثلي الجهات الحكومية والخاصة والمنظمات غير الحكومية، إضافةً إلى روّاد المشاريع الثقافية والمبدعين.
ويشارك في جلسات المؤتمر مسؤولون وخبراء سعوديون ودوليون.
ويتضمن برنامجُ المؤتمر أكثرَ من 38 جلسةً وورشة عمل، تنطلق محاورها من ثلاث ركائز رئيسة؛ أولاها (ثراء الثقافة) من أجل تعزيز مكانة الثقافة كفرصةٍ استثماريّة جاذبة، وتسليط الضوء على قوتها بوصفها محركًا اقتصاديًا يسهم في السياحة واستحداث الوظائف والتنمية الإقليمية، وتقديم المملكة كوجهةٍ رائدة لهذه الاستثمارات. وثانيها (تعزيز رأس المال الثقافي) من أجل استكشاف آليات الاستثمار المبتكرة في الفرص الثقافية، خصوصًا في الأسواق الناشئة، مع الاسترشاد بتجارب من مناطق ذات نضجٍ ثقافيٍّ متفاوت، حيث تركز على تعظيم العائد على الاستثمار، وتخفيف المخاطر، وتعزيز البُنية التحتية الثقافية بما يضمن نموّا مستدامًا للقطاع. والركيزة الثالثة (دور الثقافة القوي في تعزيز التماسك المجتمعي)، من أجل تأكيد أهمية تبنّي نهجٍ استثماريٍّ شامل وتعاونيٍّ يُعزز التبادل الثقافي العالمي والتفاهم المشترك، إذ تتناول كيفية إسهام الثقافة والفنون بطابعها العالمي في تقوية العلاقات الدولية، وتشكيل قوةٍ دبلوماسية موحّدة تجمع الشعوب تحت مظلّة القيم الإنسانية المشتركة.
ويتناول المؤتمر عدة موضوعاتٍ رئيسة، من أبرزها البعد الرأسمالي للثقافة، وعائد الاستثمار في الثقافة، والدبلوماسية الثقافية، والمفاهيم الجديدة للتمويل العام، وصناديق الاستثمار الثقافي العالمية، وريادة الأعمال والمشاريع الإبداعية، وتقليل المخاطر في الاستثمارات الثقافية، وتمويل مستقبل الثقافة، وتحفيز دور العمل الخيري في القطاع الثقافي، حيث سيُقدم متحدثو المؤتمر تجاربهم ورؤاهم الثرية في استثمار الصناعات الثقافية، وتطوير الاقتصاد الإبداعي.
ويُعد مؤتمر الاستثمار الثقافي محطةً محورية في مسيرة تمكين القطاع الثقافي في المملكة، وتحويله إلى محرّك اقتصادي حيوي يرسّخ الهوية الوطنية، ويسهم في التنمية السياحية، ويعزز التأثير الثقافي للمملكة عالميًا، تحقيقًا لمستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للثقافة، تحت مظلة رؤية السعودية 2030.
Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the first session of the Cultural Investment Conference 2025 will kick off this coming Monday, organized by the Ministry of Culture under the slogan "From Our Culture We Build Our Economy." The conference will take place over two days at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, with the attendance of Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, a select group of global investors, decision-makers, cultural leaders, and representatives from government and private sectors as well as non-governmental organizations, in addition to pioneers of cultural projects and creatives.
Saudi and international officials and experts will participate in the conference sessions.
The conference program includes more than 38 sessions and workshops, with its themes derived from three main pillars; the first is (Cultural Wealth) aimed at enhancing the status of culture as an attractive investment opportunity, highlighting its strength as an economic driver contributing to tourism, job creation, and regional development, and presenting the Kingdom as a leading destination for these investments. The second pillar (Enhancing Cultural Capital) aims to explore innovative investment mechanisms in cultural opportunities, especially in emerging markets, guided by experiences from regions with varying cultural maturity, focusing on maximizing return on investment, mitigating risks, and enhancing cultural infrastructure to ensure sustainable growth for the sector. The third pillar (The Strong Role of Culture in Enhancing Social Cohesion) aims to emphasize the importance of adopting an inclusive and collaborative investment approach that promotes global cultural exchange and mutual understanding, addressing how culture and arts, with their global character, contribute to strengthening international relations and forming a unified diplomatic force that brings peoples together under the umbrella of shared human values.
The conference will address several key topics, including the capital dimension of culture, return on investment in culture, cultural diplomacy, new concepts of public financing, global cultural investment funds, entrepreneurship and creative projects, risk reduction in cultural investments, financing the future of culture, and stimulating the role of philanthropy in the cultural sector. Conference speakers will present their rich experiences and insights on investing in cultural industries and developing the creative economy.
The Cultural Investment Conference is a pivotal milestone in the journey to empower the cultural sector in the Kingdom, transforming it into a vital economic engine that reinforces national identity, contributes to tourism development, and enhances the cultural impact of the Kingdom globally, in line with the objectives of the National Culture Strategy under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030.
