أطلق الفنان التشكيلي السعودي سعيد محمد العلاوي معرضه الشخصي الثالث عشر في «جالري هند» بمدينة المحرق بمملكة البحرين تحت عنوان «بوح الأثر»، حيث قدم تجربة بصرية غنية استدعى من خلالها ذاكرة التراث وحولها إلى خطاب بصري يوازن بين الأصالة والحداثة.
في هذا المعرض بدت النافذة موتيفة مركزية تتكرر بوعي على سطح اللوحات والجدران كأنها بوابة إلى حكايات الماضي وتفاصيل الأمكنة، الألوان والرموز انصهرت في صياغة رمزية تستدعي علاقة الإنسان بالمكان وتفتح أمام الزائر مساحة للتأمل في أثره الإنساني والوجودي.
أعمال العلاوي تنوعت بين الحروفية والتجريد والرموز الشعبية مستحضرة العمارة القديمة ومفردات الحياة اليومية، لكن في صياغة معاصرة أعطت اللوحة بعدا حواريا نابضا بالروح، فالفنان لم يكتف باستحضار الذاكرة بل أعاد إنتاجها بلغة تشكيلية تضيء الماضي وتثير أسئلة الحاضر لتتحول اللوحة إلى نص مفتوح يقرأه كل زائر بطريقته.
نال المعرض إعجاب النقاد والزوار الذين رأوا فيه إضافة جديدة لمسيرة العلاوي الممتدة وقدرته على صياغة التراث بعيون معاصرة تثري المشهد التشكيلي السعودي والعربي، فالعلاوي الذي أقام اثني عشر معرضا فرديا من قبل وشارك في ملتقيات دولية وأسهم في تأسيس مجموعات فنية، يواصل عبر «بوح الأثر» تأكيد رؤيته بأن الفن ليس ترفا بصريا بل مساحة للذاكرة والوعي والإنسان.
المعرض الذي يستمر حتى الرابع من أكتوبر 2025 يشهد على أن الأثر لا يزول بل يتحول إلى لغة تشكيلية قادرة على وصل الجذور بالآفاق والذاكرة بالخيال والتراث بالأرض البحرينية التي احتضنت هذه التجربة.
ويعد سعيد العلاوي من التشكيليين السعوديين لما بعد جيل الرواد، وقد أثرى المشهد الفني السعودي لأكثر من أربعين عاما أخرج خلالها رموز وتراث المملكة في لوحات فنية لاقت التقدير داخل الوطن وخارجه، ومثل السعودية في مناسبات ومعارض عالمية، ونال العديد من الاستحقاقات والجوائز التي رسخت مكانته كأحد الأسماء البارزة في التشكيل السعودي المعاصر.
The Saudi visual artist Saeed Mohammed Al-Alawi launched his thirteenth solo exhibition at "Gallery Hind" in the city of Muharraq, Kingdom of Bahrain, titled "The Whisper of the Trace." He presented a rich visual experience that invoked the memory of heritage and transformed it into a visual discourse that balances authenticity and modernity.
In this exhibition, the window appeared as a central motif that consciously recurs on the surfaces of the paintings and walls, as if it were a gateway to the stories of the past and the details of places. The colors and symbols fused into a symbolic formulation that evokes the relationship between humans and their environment, opening a space for visitors to contemplate its human and existential impact.
Al-Alawi's works varied between calligraphy, abstraction, and popular symbols, evoking ancient architecture and elements of daily life, but in a contemporary formulation that gave the painting a dialogical dimension pulsating with spirit. The artist did not merely summon memory; he reproduced it in a formative language that illuminates the past and raises questions about the present, transforming the painting into an open text that each visitor reads in their own way.
The exhibition received admiration from critics and visitors who saw it as a new addition to Al-Alawi's extended career and his ability to shape heritage through contemporary eyes, enriching the Saudi and Arab artistic scene. Al-Alawi, who has held twelve previous solo exhibitions, participated in international forums, and contributed to the establishment of art groups, continues through "The Whisper of the Trace" to affirm his vision that art is not a visual luxury but a space for memory, awareness, and humanity.
The exhibition, which will continue until October 4, 2025, testifies that the trace does not fade but transforms into a formative language capable of connecting roots with horizons, memory with imagination, and heritage with the Bahraini land that embraced this experience.
Saeed Al-Alawi is considered one of the Saudi visual artists of the post-pioneering generation. He has enriched the Saudi artistic scene for over forty years, during which he has showcased the symbols and heritage of the Kingdom in artworks that have received appreciation both domestically and internationally. He has represented Saudi Arabia at global events and exhibitions and has received numerous accolades and awards that have solidified his status as one of the prominent names in contemporary Saudi art.
