أعلنت هيئة الشارقة للكتاب عن فتح باب الترشح لجوائز معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب 2025 التي تهدف إلى تكريم المبدعين والناشرين الذين أسهموا في إثراء المشهد الثقافي العربي والعالمي، بإصدارات أدبية وبحثية تعكس التميز والإبداع.
ويستمر استقبال طلبات المشاركة حتى 15 سبتمبر القادم عبر الموقع الرسمي للمعرض (https://sibf.com/ar/awards)، على أن يتم الإعلان عن الفائزين خلال حفل افتتاح الدورة الـ44 للمعرض في نوفمبر. وتأتي الجوائز في إطار رؤية عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي، لتعزيز مكانة الإمارة مركزاً عالمياً للمعرفة وصناعة النشر.
وتبلغ القيمة الإجمالية للجوائز 625 ألف درهم موزعة على أربع فئات كبرى:
• جائزة الشارقة للكتاب الإماراتي: مخصصة للإنتاج المعرفي المحلي، وتضم أربع جوائز فرعية بقيمة إجمالية 300 ألف درهم. وتشمل أفضل رواية إماراتية (100 ألف درهم)، وأفضل كتاب إماراتي في الدراسات (100 ألف درهم)، وأفضل كتاب إماراتي في الإبداع الأدبي – النصوص المسرحية (50 ألف درهم)، وأفضل رواية أولى لإماراتي (50 ألف درهم).
• جائزة الشارقة لأفضل كتاب عربي في الرواية: وتبلغ قيمتها 150 ألف درهم، تُوزع مناصفة بين المؤلف والناشر، وتستهدف الروايات العربية التي تحمل أصالة وتجديداً وتطرح قضايا الواقع برؤية نقدية وإبداعية.
• جائزة الشارقة لأفضل كتاب أجنبي: بقيمة إجمالية 100 ألف درهم، مخصصة للكتب المنشورة بالإنجليزية، وتتوزع بين فئتي أفضل كتاب خيالي (روايات وقصص مبنية على الخيال)، وأفضل كتاب واقعي.
• جائزة الشارقة لتكريم دور النشر: بقيمة 75 ألف درهم، موزعة على ثلاث فئات بواقع 25 ألف درهم لكل منها: أفضل دار نشر محلية، وأفضل دار نشر عربية، وأفضل دار نشر أجنبية.
وأكدت الهيئة أن هذه الجوائز تمثل امتداداً لدور الشارقة في تحفيز الإنتاج الأدبي والفكري عربياً ودولياً، وترسيخ مكانتها وجهةً رائدة لصناعة النشر والكتاب. كما دعت الأدباء والناشرين من مختلف أنحاء العالم إلى المشاركة والتنافس، بما يعكس غنى وتنوع التجارب الثقافية والإبداعية التي يحتفي بها المعرض سنوياً.
The Sharjah Book Authority has announced the opening of nominations for the Sharjah International Book Fair Awards 2025, which aim to honor creators and publishers who have contributed to enriching the Arab and global cultural scene with literary and research publications that reflect excellence and creativity.
Applications for participation will be accepted until September 15 through the official fair website (https://sibf.com/ar/awards), with winners to be announced during the opening ceremony of the 44th edition of the fair in November. The awards are part of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance the emirate's position as a global center for knowledge and publishing.
The total value of the awards is 625,000 dirhams, distributed across four major categories:
• Sharjah Award for Emirati Book: Dedicated to local knowledge production, it includes four sub-awards with a total value of 300,000 dirhams. These include Best Emirati Novel (100,000 dirhams), Best Emirati Book in Studies (100,000 dirhams), Best Emirati Book in Literary Creativity – Plays (50,000 dirhams), and Best First Novel by an Emirati (50,000 dirhams).
• Sharjah Award for Best Arabic Book in Fiction: Valued at 150,000 dirhams, to be equally divided between the author and the publisher, targeting Arabic novels that embody authenticity and renewal while addressing real issues with a critical and creative perspective.
• Sharjah Award for Best Foreign Book: With a total value of 100,000 dirhams, dedicated to books published in English, divided between the categories of Best Fiction Book (novels and stories based on imagination) and Best Non-Fiction Book.
• Sharjah Award for Honoring Publishing Houses: Valued at 75,000 dirhams, distributed across three categories of 25,000 dirhams each: Best Local Publishing House, Best Arab Publishing House, and Best Foreign Publishing House.
The authority confirmed that these awards represent an extension of Sharjah's role in stimulating literary and intellectual production both Arab and internationally, and solidifying its position as a leading destination for the publishing and book industry. It also invited writers and publishers from around the world to participate and compete, reflecting the richness and diversity of cultural and creative experiences celebrated by the fair annually.
