بدأت القصة بعدما حصد ريمكس أغنية «Like a Prayer» للمنتج جوش فواز نجاحاً مدوياً بتصدره بث الإذاعات الأسترالية واعتلائه المركز الأول في قائمة أغاني الرقص، مسجلاً نحو 48 مليون استماع على منصة Spotify. غير أن هذا العرش بات مهزوزاً فور إعلان رابطة صناعة التسجيلات الأسترالية (ARIA) عن قواعد حاسمة تفرض استبعاد أي عمل يعتمد في جوهره على الذكاء الاصطناعي، مع امتلاكها صلاحية سحب المركز الأول وتعديل القوائم بأثر رجعي.
واندلعت الشرارة عقب اتهامات للمنتج باستخدام منصة Suno للذكاء الاصطناعي، ورغم نفيه الأول محاولاً إثبات أن التقنية لم تكن سوى مجرد أداة مساعدة، إلا أن تعديل بيانات الأغنية رسمياً كشف لاحقاً عن استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في هندسة الصوت والإيقاعات، ليدخل النجاح الرقمي المليوني في مواجهة مباشرة مع مقصلة القوانين الجديدة.

The story began after the remix of the song "Like a Prayer" by producer Josh Fawaz achieved resounding success by topping Australian radio broadcasts and reaching number one on the dance songs chart, recording around 48 million streams on Spotify. However, this throne became shaky immediately after the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) announced decisive rules that exclude any work fundamentally based on artificial intelligence, with the authority to revoke the number one position and retroactively adjust the charts.
The spark ignited following accusations against the producer for using the Suno AI platform, and although he initially denied it, trying to prove that the technology was merely a supportive tool, the official modification of the song's data later revealed the use of artificial intelligence in sound engineering and rhythms, putting the million-stream digital success in direct confrontation with the guillotine of the new laws.
