أعلن نجل الفنان الأردني فؤاد حجازي وفاة والده عن عمر ناهز 75 عامًا اليوم (السبت) 22 أغسطس بعد رحلة مع المرض، حيث فارق الحياة داخل مدينة الحسين الطبية في العاصمة الأردنية عمان، التي كان يخضع فيها للعلاج خلال الفترة الأخيرة.

صراع مع المرض
وخلال الفترة الماضية، تلقى فؤاد حجازي العلاج والرعاية الطبية داخل مدينة الحسين الطبية، في ظل توجيهات ملكية من العاهل الأردني الملك عبدالله الثاني، قبل أن توافيه المنية اليوم بعد رحلة مع المرض.
مشواره الفني
يشار إلى أن فؤاد حجازي بدأ مشواره الفني عام 1965 من خلال الإذاعة الأردنية، واشتهر بتقديم الأغنيات الفلكلورية والوطنية. ومن أبرز أعماله: «يا بنية ماني فرنجي»، و«أنا المتيم»، و«طارق»، «شالك يا حلوة»، وغيرها من الأغنيات.
تجربة التمثيل
وخاض الراحل تجربة التمثيل، وشارك في عدد من الأفلام خلال فترة إقامته في بيروت، من بينها «بنات للحب» و«رحلة عذاب» مع ناهد شريف وتوفيق الدقن.
وقدم حجازي أيضًا أعمالًا للأطفال وابتهالات دينية، إلى جانب أغنيته الشهيرة «هلا يا حبيبي باسمك» مع الفنانة جاكلين، ليترك وراءه إرثًا فنيًا امتد لعقود ظل خلالها حاضرًا في ذاكرة الجمهور ومحبي الفن الأردني.
The son of the Jordanian artist Fouad Hijazi announced the death of his father at the age of 75 today (Saturday) August 22 after a battle with illness, as he passed away inside the King Hussein Medical City in the Jordanian capital, Amman, where he had been receiving treatment in recent times.
His Son's Tribute
His son mourned him with heartfelt words on his social media account on Facebook, expressing his sadness over his father's passing, saying: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. My father, the artist Fouad Hijazi, has passed away to the mercy of Allah in the medical city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman."
Struggle with Illness
During the past period, Fouad Hijazi received treatment and medical care inside the King Hussein Medical City, under royal directives from the Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II, before he passed away today after a journey with illness.
His Artistic Journey
It is worth noting that Fouad Hijazi began his artistic journey in 1965 through the Jordanian radio, and he became famous for presenting folkloric and national songs. Among his most notable works are: "Ya Beniya Mani Frengi," "Ana Al-Mutayyam," "Tariq," "Shalk Ya Helwa," and other songs.
Acting Experience
The late artist also ventured into acting and participated in several films during his stay in Beirut, including "Banat Lil-Hob" and "Rehlat Azaab" with Nahed Sherif and Tawfiq Al-Daqn.
Hijazi also produced works for children and religious invocations, in addition to his famous song "Hala Ya Habibi Bismak" with the artist Jacqueline, leaving behind an artistic legacy that spanned decades, during which he remained present in the memory of the audience and lovers of Jordanian art.
