قرّر رئيس محكمة جنايات بيروت القاضي بلال الضناوي، اليوم الإثنين، تأجيل جلسة استجواب الفنان اللبناني فضل شاكر وأحمد الأسير إلى جانب أربعة متهمين آخرين إلى موعد لاحق، لعدم اكتمال التبليغات القانونية لجميع أطراف الدعوى، وعدم حضور شاكر والأسير إلى قصر العدل.
أسباب التأجيل
وبحسب معلومات قضائية، فإن التأجيل كان متوقعاً في ضوء مجموعة عوامل، أبرزها الإجراءات الأمنية الخاصة المطلوبة لنقل الأسير من سجن رومية، إلى جانب مشاركة أربعة مدعى عليهم آخرين في الجلسة، اثنان أُخلي سبيلهما سابقاً، فيما لا يزال الآخران متواريين عن الأنظار، فضلاً عن استمرار إضراب المساعدين القضائيين.
وتشير المعلومات نفسها إلى أن فضل شاكر وأحمد الأسير أبديا استعدادهما للمثول أمام المحكمة والإدلاء بإفادتيهما في الدعوى المقدّمة ضدهما من قبل مسؤول في سرايا حزب الله في صيدا هلال حمود، حيث كان من المقرر أن يعرضا دفوعهما ويقدّما أدلة تثبت عدم تورطهما في محاولة القتل موضوع الملاحقة القضائية.
وسلم شاكر نفسه للجيش اللبناني أكتوبر الماضي بعد فترة طويلة تجاوزت عشرة أعوام ظل خلالها متواريًا داخل أحد المخيمات الفلسطينية، بينما كانت تصدر بحقه أحكام بالسجن على خلفية اتهامات مرتبطة بالإرهاب.
The President of the Beirut Criminal Court, Judge Bilal Al-Dhanawi, decided today, Monday, to postpone the interrogation session of Lebanese artist Fadel Shaker and Ahmad Al-Assir along with four other defendants to a later date, due to the incomplete legal notifications for all parties involved in the case, and the absence of Shaker and Al-Assir from the Palace of Justice.
Reasons for the Postponement
According to judicial information, the postponement was expected in light of several factors, most notably the special security procedures required to transfer Al-Assir from Roumieh Prison, along with the participation of four other defendants in the session, two of whom were previously released, while the other two remain at large, in addition to the ongoing strike of judicial assistants.
The same information indicates that Fadel Shaker and Ahmad Al-Assir expressed their willingness to appear before the court and provide their testimonies in the case filed against them by a Hezbollah official in Sidon, Hilal Hamoud, where they were supposed to present their defenses and provide evidence proving their non-involvement in the attempted murder that is the subject of the legal proceedings.
Shaker surrendered to the Lebanese Army last October after a long period exceeding ten years during which he remained hidden in one of the Palestinian camps, while prison sentences were being issued against him related to terrorism charges.
