حقق الفيلم الفلسطيني «شكراً لأنك تحلم معنا» للمخرجة ليلي عباس، نجاحاً كبيراً عقب عرضه علي هامش مهرجان كان السينمائي الدولي الدورة 78، وحصل على جائزتين ضمن فعاليات حفل جوائز النقاد للسينما العربية، أمس، وهي جائزة أفضل فيلم، وجائزة أفضل مخرجة من اختيار لجنة تحكيم تكونت من 281 ناقداً سينمائياً من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

ويعد فيلم «شكراً لأنك تحلم معنا»، من ضمن الأفلام التي ناقشت القضية الفلسطينية بشكل واقعي، مما جعله يحصل على جائزتين من أهم المهرجانات العالمية، ويعتبر هو آخر فيلم فلسطيني تم تصويره في الضفة الغربية، ويكشف العلاقة بين شقيقتين يترك لهما والدهما مبلغاً ضخماً من المال، ويحاولان معاً الوصول لخطة متقنة للهروب بالمال قبل أن يكتشف شقيقهما الأمر، إذ يحق له قانوناً الحصول على نصف الميراث.
The Palestinian film "Thank You for Dreaming with Us," directed by Leila Abbas, achieved great success following its screening on the sidelines of the 78th Cannes Film Festival. It won two awards during the Arab Cinema Critics' Awards ceremony yesterday: Best Film and Best Director, as chosen by a jury composed of 281 film critics from around the world.

The film "Thank You for Dreaming with Us" is among the films that realistically discuss the Palestinian issue, which has earned it two awards from some of the most important international festivals. It is considered the last Palestinian film shot in the West Bank and reveals the relationship between two sisters who are left a huge sum of money by their father. Together, they try to devise a meticulous plan to escape with the money before their brother discovers the situation, as he is legally entitled to half of the inheritance.
