وكتبت الصفحة الرسمية لأسرة عبدالحليم حافظ عبر الحساب الرسمي على منصة «فيسبوك» أن مكالمة «العندليب» كانت للاطمئنان على صحة أم كلثوم بعد تدهور حالتها بسبب مرض القلب، لكنها تحولت إلى حديث صادق مليء بالمشاعر.
وأضاف المنشور أن أم كلثوم شاركت حليم وشقيقته علية أسراراً من أيامها الأخيرة، ما أثر بشدة على الفنان الراحل وأصاب قلبه بالحزن الشديد.

وأضافت الأسرة أن عبدالحليم حافظ أوصى بعد يومين من المكالمة بأن يظل منزله مفتوحاً للعائلة والأصدقاء بعد وفاته، مع التأكيد على ضرورة الحفاظ على الترابط والمحبة والوفاق بين أفراد العائلة مهما كانت الظروف.
