They can be disrupted or turned against us in a moment of tension or cyberattack.

What if we are suddenly banned from accessing these platforms?

We are in an era where information has become a weapon, and controlling communication is controlling public opinion and national sentiments..

What we need are national communication networks that operate in our language, under our laws, and built by local hands.. internal data servers (Data Sovereignty).

And alternative applications for chatting.. video.. and blogging.. officially supported and encouraged by the community.. and a culture of digital awareness that supports the use of these alternatives without blind admiration for the West..

There are countries with internal alternative programs, like China with "WeChat" – an alternative to WhatsApp, Facebook, and TikTok all at once.

Russia: has "VK" and "Telegram," and even its own search engine "Yandex."

So why don’t we have something similar?

We have the minds.. we have the money, and we have the need, so why don’t we start?

If the means are in someone else's hands, the word is not your word even if you are the speaker..

Yes, the time has not only come.. but it is screaming at us to build our platforms, create our tools, and liberate our communication, our information, and our secrets..

Because digital sovereignty has become a national necessity in the age of cyber threats, and building our own communication networks away from dependence on the West is essential for independence through secure local networks and for a safe digital future in Saudi hands..

And when the West stops and cuts off our communication, we will have prepared for such a situation early on.
