The circumstances did not help (Abu Aqirban) to become wealthy and gather enough money to meet his needs and protect him from the mockery of his group. He was generous with his uncle in the houses of Mecca during the early days of his adolescence; and (the mature women of the neighborhood) noticed him; so she was certain that (Abu Aqirban) was a name that suited him, so she took him aside and said: "You can no longer sleep under the stairs, just stay in the hallway close to me to fix my shisha and fan me." His bones trembled, and the voice of instinct rose; and he kept repeating: "I’m at your service." She took him into her hallway, and it became the closing door of livelihood.
(Abu Aqirban) intentionally made his wife (Marbousha) and his children (Madaouj Al-Ayan) and (Manshat Al-Dhuban) believe that he had found a yield that would satisfy his fears and preserve his dignity in front of them; he started going down to the markets; causing auctions or brokerage, and whenever he returned home; he would rummage and scratch; and if he saw them approaching him from the pasture or the corral; he would slam his iron bag shut; and return it to its place; and every time he contemplated the high walls; he was determined to charm them, while his wife wondered; how could he charm them when she hadn’t even had the chance to wake up; and he kept repeating a saying he considered the most sacred that his ancestors left him (the peeled path is coveted by the wolf).
(Abu Aqirban) was in a state of despair while drinking milk from his neighbor's cow, the sorcerer; it was the last sip and the last gulp he took; (Marbousha) mourned for him, hoping that he took poverty with him in his shroud; and she was confident that God would enrich her after He saved her from (the highway robbers) and deep down she had aspirations that if God guided her children; she had not yet had her fill of the world; and her thirst was unquenchable while she longed for a glimpse; to restore her morning glow; and she often worked while she prayed (God bless you, O Jurf of the orphans, with the flood).
She went out after finishing her mourning; shouting for her brother (Marbash); "Help me, oh brother!" He was startled by her shouting, while preparing for Friday prayers; he cut his lower garment with a razor, and while shaving, his blood flowed, and he began to look for ash to bandage his wound; and he came out questioning while adjusting his turban around his waist; and he exclaimed, "O you who do not spare me!" She said; "Hurry, our thread is at the house; and the wood of the riss was removed; even the radio that entertains me was taken; and our house is stripped of the firewood, may God not forgive him." He wondered; "What is he looking for, may God help you and him?" She replied; "He is looking for the yield of his father, may God have mercy on him;" he commented; "May God not have mercy on you nor on him; we shouted from (Abu Aqirban) and his son came."
Their neighbor (the sorcerer) heard the commotion; he poked his head from behind, saw her picking basil from the tin to tie her brother's headband, he cleared his throat to get her attention, but his backside betrayed him, and his cannon fired, he commented; "All this from the bedspread did not allow the dawn to succeed;" she burst out laughing; he seized the moment and said; "If you obey my advice, leave it to the mother of silence; and your home, by God, is with the one who knows your worth and quenches your thirst, and your resting place is above this chest like the sea, and your goat is on my knees, let him look for the yield of the crafty one who has nothing but a knee cap."
Her brother dried his body; and applied ointment to his wounds; and approached them, agitated; "You and your wild ones since the day (Abu Aqirban) chewed his bond; I gathered you under my wings; and they are still like the herd that the rain has soaked until their heads fell; and if it weren’t for me, I would have eaten you all by now. He added, "If we say, O God, let it rain, the Bedouins will be blown away, and if we say, O God, let it be clear, the sons of Muhammad will be constricted," God does it from Him, and no one else can do it. He preferred (Manshat Al-Dhuban) with his permission; and asked him; "What are you looking for, O Abu Naqab?" "I searched for you in the iron; and I managed the valley, you don’t come in the middle of your brother (Madaouj Al-Ayan) who the group does not mention; he replied; "May God cut off your hand, O uncle, I want you to be like the men," he replied with a frown; "If you are born, do not ride your donkey, ride...," (Manshat Al-Dhuban) commented; "You are a donkey, O uncle," he added; "But I know the men, my son, who have been born, and you are looking for the yield of someone who had nothing but his Lord and his stature, and may God grant him safety, returned from Mecca; and received Abu Jarra like the jar of the thoi; he lowered the heads of the women at the wells and redeemed their bellies; "Your belly is safe, your belly is safe."
He was hurt by the mockery of his father, so he tied the turban around his head; and began to threaten his uncle, saying, "You brought this foolishness upon us, what do we learn from you of disgrace, and we know you do not fight for my father except you, and our neighbor the sorcerer is the one who brings the mice, you would not be satisfied except in our house, but where will you go from God?" The uncle said; "This is my face, I will not let your jinn be safe, or your goat will urinate on your uncle's beard," he charged at him like a camel and struck him on the shoulder; and his age fell; and his tongue began to cry out to his mother; and she tried to intervene while her tongue was busy; (Where can I find her, O my Lord; O our home, do not let mockery enter you) and the one who brings the mice; watched them and encouraged the uncle; "Hit him, hit him, Abu Adharit."
