بدا لي وزير التعليم يوسف البنيان، في مؤتمره الصحفي الأخير، مستعداً للإجابة عن جميع الأسئلة التي طُرحت عليه، مما يدل على جاهزية وزارته لقيادة التحولات المنتظرة خلال العام الدراسي الجديد، مع صدور نظام التعليم الجديد !
نقاط كثيرة تستحق النقاش في حديث الوزير، لكن شدّني رهانه على المعلمين في المملكة، فتعزيز الثقة بالمعلم وإبراز قيمته بوصفه ركناً أساسياً في العملية التعليمية يشكل دعماً وتمكيناً بالغَي الأهمية، خاصة مع إعلانه تدريب أكثر من 240 ألفاً من الكادر التعليمي، من بينهم أكثر من 4 آلاف معلم ومعلمة على اكتشاف الطلبة الموهوبين !
كنت في لقاء مع الوزير، قد اقترحت عليه الاهتمام بتوفير الأخصائيين النفسيين في المدارس للعناية بمشكلات الطلاب والطالبات، خاصة ما يتعلق بضغوط الدراسة والعلاقات داخل البيئة المدرسية، لضمان جاذبيتها وصحتها، وأرجو أن يكون ذلك ضمن خطط رفع كفاءة البيئة المدرسية !
ومن المهم أيضاً، العناية بالجانب الصحي والغذائي للطلاب والطالبات، وربطه بالعملية التعليمية والبيئة المدرسية، لضمان اكتساب الثقافة الصحية والغذائية السليمة، وأن تكون المدارس ومحيطها مصدراً للتغذية السليمة، من خلال المقاصف المدرسية ومنع بيع الأغذية الضارة داخل المدرسة وفي محيطها !
باختصار.. أرجو فعلاً أن يكون نظام التعليم الجديد نقطة تحول في تطوير المنظومة التعليمية، وتعزيز جودة المخرجات، وخلق البيئة المثالية لتحقيق أهداف التعليم، وبناء الشراكة الفاعلة والمحفزة بين جميع أطراف العلاقة التعليمية !
Education Minister Yusuf Al-Bunyan appeared to me in his recent press conference ready to answer all the questions posed to him, which indicates his ministry's preparedness to lead the anticipated transformations during the new academic year, with the issuance of the new education system!
There are many points worth discussing in the minister's speech, but I was particularly drawn to his bet on the teachers in the Kingdom. Enhancing trust in teachers and highlighting their value as a fundamental pillar of the educational process is an immensely important support and empowerment, especially with his announcement to train more than 240,000 educational staff, including over 4,000 male and female teachers, on identifying gifted students!
In a meeting with the minister, I suggested that he pay attention to providing psychological specialists in schools to address the issues faced by students, particularly those related to study pressures and relationships within the school environment, to ensure its attractiveness and health. I hope this will be part of the plans to enhance the efficiency of the school environment!
It is also important to pay attention to the health and nutritional aspects of students, linking them to the educational process and the school environment, to ensure the acquisition of proper health and nutrition culture, and for schools and their surroundings to be a source of healthy nutrition, through school canteens and preventing the sale of harmful foods inside and around the school!
In short.. I truly hope that the new education system will be a turning point in developing the educational system, enhancing the quality of outputs, creating the ideal environment to achieve educational goals, and building an effective and motivating partnership among all parties involved in the educational relationship!
