والمملكة العربية السعودية، من خلال وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية، تولي القطاع التعاوني عناية بالغة، مدفوعة برؤية السعودية 2030، عبر مبادرات وبرامج نوعية تدعم أثر الجمعيات التعاونية وتعزز كفاءة أدائها، لتحقيق الاستدامة والتمكين من أداء دور تنموي فاعل يحقق مستهدفات الرؤية !
وبالنظر إلى حجم القطاع على مستوى العالم ومؤشرات أدائه، يمكن النظر إلى النمو الكبير الذي حققه القطاع في المملكة وأثره في المجتمع، حيث أسهمت الوزارة في تمكين القطاع من خلال أدوات الحوكمة الفاعلة والتنظيمات المحفزة، ليمارس دوراً فاعلاً في بيئة جاذبة تتفاعل مع المبادرات والبرامج، فثقافة العمل التطوعي في المجتمع السعودي متجذّرة ومتوارثة عبر الأجيال، وجاءت التعاونيات لتوفر المسارات والحاضنات التي تستوعب الرغبة في العمل التطوعي وتوجيهه في أطر مقننة وممنهجة تعظم الأثر، وتحقق الفوائد، وترضي الشغف !
التعاونيات لا توفر فرص التطوع والخدمة أو تلبية احتياجات الفئات والخدمات المستهدفة فحسب، بل إنها تسهم بشكل نوعي في الاقتصاد المحلي ورفع جودة الحياة، لتكون من أدوات البناء والازدهار واستقرار المجتمعات، مما يجعلها شريكاً فاعلاً في التنمية الاقتصادية، وتمكين الأفراد من خلال خلق الفرص النوعية لخدمة المجتمع وتلبية احتياجاته !
باختصار.. في المملكة العربية السعودية لا نستذكر أهمية القطاع التعاوني في يومه السنوي، بقدر ما نحتفي بأثره النامي طيلة أيام السنة !

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, pays great attention to the cooperative sector, driven by Saudi Vision 2030, through qualitative initiatives and programs that support the impact of cooperative societies and enhance their performance efficiency, to achieve sustainability and empower them to play an effective developmental role that meets the objectives of the vision!
Looking at the size of the sector globally and its performance indicators, one can observe the significant growth that the sector has achieved in the Kingdom and its impact on society, as the ministry has contributed to empowering the sector through effective governance tools and stimulating regulations, allowing it to play an active role in an attractive environment that interacts with initiatives and programs. The culture of volunteer work in Saudi society is deeply rooted and passed down through generations, and cooperatives have come to provide pathways and incubators that accommodate the desire for volunteer work and direct it within regulated and systematic frameworks that maximize impact, achieve benefits, and satisfy passion!
Cooperatives not only provide opportunities for volunteering and service or meet the needs of targeted groups and services, but they also contribute qualitatively to the local economy and improve the quality of life, making them tools for building, prosperity, and community stability, which makes them an effective partner in economic development and enables individuals by creating quality opportunities to serve the community and meet its needs!
In short.. in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we do not just recall the importance of the cooperative sector on its annual day, but we celebrate its growing impact throughout the year!
