في عالم التواصل الرقمي، ظهرت المساحات الصوتية في منصة X إضافةً واعدةً تعِد بإعادة الحيوية إلى النقاشات الحيّة المباشرة، فتسمح للمستخدمين بالتواصل الصوتي الفوري حول موضوعات عدة، من ثقافية وفكرية وسياسية إلى الترفيه والتسويق إلخ، ومع ذلك، تبيّن أن هذه الخاصية التي وُصفت في بداياتها بأنها فضاء للنقاش الهادف، سرعان ما دفعت الكثيرين بمحتوى عكسي، يهدّد جدوى وجودها ويطرح سؤالاً محوريّاً: هل هي منصات للنقاش أم هدر للغة وللوقت؟
حقيقة لست من روّاد هذه المساحات، ولكن تمر عليّ أحياناً تسجيلات لمساحات تثير فضولي لسماع ما بعدها لعل وعسى أن تكون مفبركة أو مجتزأة؛ بسبب لغة الحوار وانحدار المستوى اللفظي فيها لأتفاجأ أنها صحيحة وأحياناً من أسماء معروفة، هذا فضلاً عن كم التحريض والتخوين والتشويه المتفشي في هذه المساحات خصوصاً بعد الاستحواذ الأخير على المنصة وتراخي قوانين الضبط اللفظي والأخلاقي فيها، ومن أبرز السلبيات التي برزت خلال تفاعل المستخدمين مع المساحات الصوتية انتشار السجالات غير المفيدة، واستخدام لغة متردية ومسيئة، الأمر الذي دفع تحذيرات قانونية وإعلامية من تبعات مثل هذه الانزلاقات من سب وشتم وتنابز بالألفاظ النابية خارج إطار الاحترام والذوق العام، ما يطرح خطر الوقوع المتكرر في مخالفات الجرائم المعلوماتية ذات التأثير الكارثي عند بث مثل هذه السلوكيات على الملأ.
وتتفاقم المشكلة في ظل تنوع المشاركين وعدم ربطهم بروابط قوية أو ضوابط نوعية واضحة، ما يجعل المساحة الصوتية بيئة مفتوحة أمام من يسعى لإثارة الجدالات العقيمة أو التصعيد النزاعي بدل الحوار البناء. وفي غياب قدر كافٍ من الرقابة الذاتية أو الفعلية، تتحوّل هذه اللحظات الصوتية إلى ما يشبه الساحة المفتوحة غير المنظمة، لاجترار الكلمات الساخنة دون تبصر أو آلية فاعلة لضبط جودة الخطاب.
تضطلع الهيئة العامة لتنظيم الإعلام بدور محوري في صون المشهد الإعلامي بالمملكة، عبر ضبط المحتوى المرئي والمسموع، ووضع أطر تنظيمية توازن بين ما ينشر والمسؤولية عما ينشر لتحمي القيم الوطنية، وتكبح الفوضى الرقمية، بما يرسّخ إعلاماً رصيناً يعكس هوية المجتمع السعودي، ولكن -أيضاً- يبقى الرهان الحقيقي معقوداً على كُتّاب الرأي والإعلاميين في استعادة هيبة الكلمة، وكبح النزف اللفظي في الفضاءات المفتوحة، عبر خطاب واعٍ ومسؤول، يعلّي قيمة الحوار، ويعيد توجيه المساحات من الضجيج إلى المعنى، ومن الفوضى إلى التأثير الإيجابي الرشيد.
In the world of digital communication, audio spaces on platform X have emerged as a promising addition that promises to revitalize live discussions, allowing users to engage in instant voice communication on various topics, from cultural and intellectual to political, entertainment, marketing, etc. However, it has become evident that this feature, initially described as a space for meaningful discussion, has quickly led many to produce counterproductive content that threatens its usefulness and raises a central question: Are these platforms for discussion or a waste of language and time?
In truth, I am not a frequent user of these spaces, but sometimes recordings of sessions come my way that pique my curiosity to hear what follows, hoping they might be fabricated or taken out of context due to the language of the dialogue and the decline in verbal standards, only to be surprised that they are indeed accurate and sometimes from well-known names. This is in addition to the rampant incitement, betrayal, and distortion prevalent in these spaces, especially after the recent acquisition of the platform and the loosening of verbal and ethical regulations within it. Among the most notable negatives that have emerged during user interactions with audio spaces is the proliferation of unproductive arguments and the use of degrading and offensive language, which has prompted legal and media warnings about the consequences of such slips involving insults and name-calling outside the framework of respect and public decency, raising the risk of repeated violations of information crimes that could have catastrophic effects when such behaviors are broadcast publicly.
The problem is exacerbated by the diversity of participants and the lack of strong connections or clear qualitative controls, making the audio space an open environment for those seeking to provoke futile debates or escalate disputes instead of fostering constructive dialogue. In the absence of sufficient self-regulation or actual oversight, these audio moments turn into what resembles an unregulated open arena, regurgitating heated words without insight or an effective mechanism to control the quality of discourse.
The General Authority for Media Regulation plays a pivotal role in preserving the media landscape in the Kingdom by regulating audio-visual content and establishing regulatory frameworks that balance what is published with the responsibility for what is published, protecting national values and curbing digital chaos, thereby reinforcing a sober media that reflects the identity of Saudi society. However, the real bet also lies with opinion writers and journalists in restoring the dignity of the word and curbing verbal hemorrhage in open spaces through conscious and responsible discourse that elevates the value of dialogue and redirects spaces from noise to meaning, and from chaos to positive and prudent impact.
