أي ملتقى أو مهرجان تكون اللقاءات بين المدعوين ذات عمق نفسي محبب، يؤثر فيهم، وتخلق الألفة بينهم، فالثقافة هي وعاء يجمع المختلفين والمتفقين، في لقاءات خارج الندوات الرئيسة.
وأي مثقف، مهما اختلف، سيجد في الحوار نوافذ نور لتجارب المختلفين معه، فالحوار عمود خيمة لمن يقتعد في فيء تلك الخيمة، فقط أن لا يكون هناك رفض سابق لعملية القراءة أو الحوار.
كنت حاضراً في ملتقى السرد الذي نظّمه المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب في الكويت، كفاتحة تسبق إعلان دولة الكويت عاصمة للثقافة والإعلام العربي لهذا العام.
شارك في المنتدى نخبة من الأدباء والنقاد والمفكرين من دولة الكويت والدول العربية، وغالباً تكون اللقاءات الهامشية (خارج الندوات الرئيسية ) ذات عمق فعلي في تقارب الآراء والأفكار، وتصويب الاختلاف إن وجد.
وسعدت كثيراً بالالتقاء مع مجموعة كبيرة من المبدعين الشباب في الرواية والقصة والنقد، وتناقشنا كثيراً حول الماهية لكل فن، أو تشذراته.
وجدت إنتاجاً إبداعياً يستوجب الإشارة الى منتجيه من الجنسين، ويبدو أن ثمة تحسساً بين الأجيال المتتابعة في إنتاج السرد بالعموم، في حين أن الإبداع لا يصد أو لا يتم التعالي عليه، فالفنُّ فنٌّ سواء كان قديماً أو حديثاً، وإن كانت هناك نزعة الظهور فهذا حق مكفول لمجموعة الشباب، إلا أن تلك النزعة مقيدة بجودة ما يتم إنتاجه حتى وإن كانت هناك فرصة التجديد، فالتجديد منضبط بمقدرة الكاتب على فهم السابق وإجادته.. والذي لاحظته تسيب المصطلحات، وإن لم يكن هناك تحرير للمصطلح فسوف يتم اختلاط المفاهيم، وتسمية ظاهرة كتابية بمصطلح جديد بينما تكون تلك الظاهرة الكتابية موجودة من زمن بعيد، والذي طرأ على الشباب تسميتها بمسمى جديد.
متيقّن أن هناك أدباً رائعاً، وكُتَّاباً أكثر روعة مما يكتبونه، ويمكن الإشارة إلى أن رغبة الظهور يمكن لها تكسير المجاديف، وطبيعة الظهور تقوم على جودة الإنتاج، والتريث في بناء التجربة لكي يكون الظهور لائقاً.
أخيراً، حصلت على كتب عدة في السرد لمجموعة شباب وشابات، سأحرص على الإشارة لما يروق لي كذائقة خاصة بي، وإن كانت هناك من قفلة لهذا المقال فهي الشكر، الشكر العميق للمجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب في دولة الكويت؛ لإقامة هذا الملتقى الزَّخِم في ندواته والمواضيع التي تمّت مناقشتها، والشباب الذين تم تقديمهم.

Any forum or festival where the meetings among the invitees have a beloved psychological depth affects them and creates familiarity among them. Culture is a vessel that brings together both the different and the similar in meetings outside the main seminars.
Any intellectual, no matter how different, will find in dialogue windows of light to the experiences of those who differ from him, as dialogue is the pillar of the tent for those who sit in the shade of that tent, provided there is no prior rejection of the process of reading or dialogue.
I was present at the Narrative Forum organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters in Kuwait, as an opening preceding the announcement of Kuwait as the Capital of Arab Culture and Media for this year.
A distinguished group of writers, critics, and thinkers from Kuwait and the Arab countries participated in the forum, and often the marginal meetings (outside the main seminars) have a real depth in the convergence of opinions and ideas, and in rectifying differences if they exist.
I was very pleased to meet a large group of young creators in novels, stories, and criticism, and we discussed a lot about the essence of each art or its fragments.
I found creative production that deserves to be highlighted, produced by both genders, and it seems that there is a sensitivity among the successive generations in the production of narrative in general, while creativity cannot be rejected or looked down upon; art is art whether it is old or modern. Although there is a tendency for visibility, this is a right guaranteed to the youth, yet this tendency is constrained by the quality of what is produced, even if there is an opportunity for renewal. Renewal is governed by the writer's ability to understand the past and master it. What I noticed is the laxity of terminology; if there is no liberation of the term, concepts will mix, and a writing phenomenon will be named with a new term while that writing phenomenon has existed for a long time, and the youth have recently given it a new name.
I am certain that there is wonderful literature and writers even more wonderful than what they write. It can be noted that the desire for visibility can break the oars, and the nature of visibility is based on the quality of production and the patience in building the experience so that the visibility is appropriate.
Finally, I received several books in narrative from a group of young men and women, and I will make sure to highlight what appeals to me as my personal taste. If there is a conclusion to this article, it is gratitude, deep gratitude to the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters in the State of Kuwait for organizing this rich forum in its seminars and the topics that were discussed, and for the youth who were presented.
