Since 1948 and up to the writing of these lines, Israel commits a series of seemingly endless absurdities every day, whether through its treatment of Palestinians within its borders or its dealings with neighboring countries. Perhaps its recent blatant aggression against the State of Qatar reflects part of its methodology of disrespecting international treaties and agreements. Since the events of October 7, the Israeli killing machine has not stopped killing tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in a deliberate provocation of the international community, which has grown weary of the absurdities committed by Israel against an unarmed people.
Following the violation of Qatar's sovereignty, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that his country has the right to pursue those he labeled as terrorists anywhere, similar to what the United States did while tracking down al-Qaeda leaders. In reality, this comparison seems unjust and illogical from the outset, but this is the reality of Israeli leaders who have consistently distorted facts, altered realities, and falsified history. The Palestinian resistance is the rightful owner of the land, and its resistance stems from its feeling of grievance due to Israel's unjust and oppressive policies towards the Palestinian people.
In fact, Israel is the perpetrator, so how can it consider itself a victim? Israel is the one that has usurped Palestinian lands in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, killed tens of thousands of them, destroyed the infrastructure of the region, and caused the disability and injury of hundreds of thousands. Finally, it has officially caused the region to enter a state of famine, where children are dying of hunger daily in full view of the entire world, without anyone being able to intervene to save them due to the refusal and obstinacy of the bloodthirsty Israeli government. After all this, Israel justifies its cowardly actions by claiming its goal is to eliminate terrorism and attempt to uproot it from its sources!
During a series of negotiations with Hamas after the events of October 7, Israel always claimed that Hamas negotiators were placing obstacles in front of a deal to end the war and return Israeli prisoners. Perhaps its blatant aggression against the negotiation delegation's headquarters in Qatar is the clearest evidence that it does not want any peaceful solutions; rather, it may wish to bury the negotiations altogether, because it does not want to end the war before inflicting more and more casualties on the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. What Israel is doing is a campaign of genocide, having killed many more than those who died in the events of October 7, and it has obliterated large parts of the region in preparation for settlement, yet it forgets or deliberately ignores that justice cannot die.
What Israel has perpetrated exceeds its losses by dozens of times; it has crossed all red lines. Perhaps its extremely foolish actions have caused a backlash contrary to what it aimed to achieve, as most of the world's population, countries, and governments have sympathized with the Palestinians. This sympathy increases day by day with the continuation of Israeli violence. Following the massive demonstrations that swept across most countries of the world condemning the actions of the Israeli government and army, in solidarity with the Palestinian victims who are falling daily at an unprecedented rate, many major governments - the latest being China - announced their intention to recognize the State of Palestine, which represents Israel's worst nightmare, and Israel has fiercely declared its rejection of this step.
Israel believes that eliminating Palestinian leaders and symbols of resistance will extinguish any hope for the establishment of a Palestinian state. However, the question that arises is: Has the Palestinian cause died with the death of its leaders, whom it systematically assassinates since 1948? Has it ended and been liquidated in any way? The truth that Israel deliberately ignores is that the Palestinian cause is not just a matter of leaders but a cause for an entire nation. It insists on following its foolish approach to understanding the roots of the Palestinian cause. Its insistence on dealing with Palestinians unjustly and arrogantly is the reason for the animosity with the entire Palestinian people, not just with the symbols of Palestinian resistance. Israel believes it can liquidate the Palestinian cause by killing Palestinian leaders and erasing everything Palestinian from existence, and perhaps it found its excuse in the events of October 7, which it used as a pretext for the collective extermination of Palestinians.
The greatest evidence of this is that the West Bank had nothing to do with the events of October 7, yet Israel launched a fierce war against the Palestinian Authority and the entire Palestinian people in the West Bank without justification or even a clear reason. Israel considers every Palestinian walking on the land an enemy, and the atrocities and massacres committed by Israel have made its aggressive strategy clear to the entire world. The Palestinian cause will continue until the land returns to its rightful owners.
