شددت وزارة التجارة على أن صاحب السجل التجاري مسؤول عن أي مخالفات تقع باسمه، بما في ذلك مسؤولية الزوجة عن تمكين زوجها من سجلها التجاري والمخالفات المترتبة على أعماله، حتى إن كانت جاهلة بالنظام!
صحيح أن مبدأ المسؤولية وفق النظام واضح، لكن بعض الأنشطة التجارية الكبيرة تتطلب أعمال إدارتها واستخدام منصات الخدمات الحكومية تفويضاً للمديرين والمفوّضين، وهؤلاء يتحملون بدورهم مسؤولية مستقلة عند إساءة استخدام الصلاحيات، فلا يمكن لصاحب السجل متابعة كل التفاصيل بنفسه، خاصة إذا كانت الأعمال متوسعة وفي مناطق جغرافية متعددة!

مع أن جرائم التستر التجاري تراجعت كثيراً بفضل الوعي ورقابة حركة الأموال والأنظمة الجديدة التي سمحت للأجانب بممارسة الأنشطة التجارية وأغنتهم عن الحاجة للتستر، إلا أن قضايا خيانة الأمانة أو سوء التصرف بين الأزواج والأقارب ما زالت تحدث وهي أشد إيلاماً وخسارتها مضاعفة، إذ تجمع بين الخسارة المالية والعاطفية!
باختصار.. كثيرون ينصحون بتجنب الشراكات التجارية والتعاملات الاستثمارية بين الأقارب والأصدقاء للحفاظ على العلاقات الاجتماعية وتفادي الخلافات المادية!
