لقيت شابة في الثانية والعشرين من عمرها مصرعها إثر تعرضها لاعتداء عنيف داخل منزلها، قبل أن تتعقد القضية بوفاة زوجها المشتبه به بعد وقت قصير من توقيفه من قِبل السلطات.
وتعود تفاصيل الحادثة إلى منطقة جبل الجلود بالعاصمة تونس، حيث عُثر على ميسم في وضع صحي حرج داخل منزلها، بعدما تحوّل تدخل أمني للبحث عن زوج مطلوب للعدالة إلى اكتشاف جريمة مروعة.
وبحسب معطيات أمنية، كانت الضحية تعاني إصابات بالغة ومتفرقة شملت طعنات في الرقبة والصدر والساق، إضافة إلى إصابات خطيرة في الرأس واليدين. كما أظهرت المعاينات تعرضها لاعتداءات متعددة لم تقتصر على الضرب والطعن، بل شملت آثار حروق ناجمة عن إطفاء سجائر على جسدها، في مشهد عكس قسوة العنف الذي تعرضت له قبل وفاتها متأثرة بإصابتها.
ولم تكن هذه الحادثة الأولى في حياة الضحية مع العنف الأسري، إذ تشير الوقائع إلى تعرضها قبل نحو شهر ونصف لاعتداء شديد استدعى نقلها إلى قسم الطوارئ بمستشفى في العاصمة، ما دفعها حينها إلى تقديم شكوى ضد زوجها قبل أن تتراجع عنها لاحقاً أملاً في الحفاظ على أسرتها.
وتؤكد روايات مقربين من العائلة أن الخلافات لم تتوقف، بل استمرت في ظل تهديدات متكررة طالت شقيق الضحية ووالدتها وحتى طفلتها الرضيعة. كما أفاد أحد الجيران بأن الزوج هدد في واقعة سابقة بإلقاء طفلته، التي لم يتجاوز عمرها 40 يوماً، من نافذة المنزل.
ورغم تصاعد المخاوف، تمسكت ميسم باستمرار العلاقة حفاظاً على أطفالها الثلاثة الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين رضيعة وأربعة أعوام، فيما تفيد معلومات أمنية بأن الزوج أُوقف في مناسبات سابقة على خلفية اعتداءاته عليها، لكنها كانت تطالب في كل مرة بالإفراج عنه.
كما كشفت المعطيات أن المشتبه به كان مطلوباً في قضايا أخرى وصادراً بحقه عدد من مذكرات التفتيش، ما أعاد طرح تساؤلات حول سبل حماية ضحايا العنف الأسري ومنع تكرار الاعتداءات.
وبعد مغادرته موقع الجريمة، تمكنت السلطات من القبض على الزوج وإيقافه، غير أن القضية أخذت منحى أكثر غموضاً بعدما أُعلن عن وفاته بعد فترة وجيزة من توقيفه، بينما لا تزال ملابسات وفاته وأسبابها محل تحقيق من الجهات المختصة.

The details of the incident date back to the Jebel Jloud area in the capital, Tunis, where Maysam was found in critical health condition inside her home, after a security intervention to search for her husband, who was wanted by justice, turned into the discovery of a horrific crime.
According to security data, the victim suffered severe and multiple injuries, including stab wounds to the neck, chest, and leg, in addition to serious injuries to her head and hands. Inspections also revealed that she had been subjected to multiple assaults that included not only beating and stabbing but also showed signs of burns caused by extinguishing cigarettes on her body, in a scene that reflected the brutality of the violence she endured before dying from her injuries.
This was not the first incident of domestic violence in the victim's life, as records indicate that she had been subjected to a severe assault about a month and a half prior, which required her to be taken to the emergency department of a hospital in the capital. This prompted her at the time to file a complaint against her husband, only to later retract it in hopes of preserving her family.
Accounts from close family members confirm that the disputes did not stop but continued amid repeated threats directed at the victim's brother, mother, and even her infant daughter. One neighbor reported that the husband had previously threatened to throw their child, who was only 40 days old, out of the window of their home.
Despite the escalating fears, Maysam insisted on maintaining the relationship for the sake of her three children, who range in age from an infant to four years old, while security information indicates that the husband had been arrested on previous occasions due to his assaults on her, but she demanded his release each time.
The data also revealed that the suspect was wanted in other cases and had several arrest warrants issued against him, raising questions about the means of protecting victims of domestic violence and preventing the recurrence of assaults.
After leaving the crime scene, the authorities managed to arrest the husband, but the case took a more mysterious turn after his death was announced shortly after his arrest, while the circumstances and causes of his death are still under investigation by the relevant authorities.
