في لحظة خاطفة تحولت رحلة هادئة على طُرقات إقليم كردستان العراق إلى كابوس مروع، بعد أن انحرفت حافلة كبيرة عن مسارها لتسقط بشكل صادم في أحضان نهر يتدفق قرب قرية «رزان» بمحافظة أربيل.
الحادث الذي وقع أمس (السبت)، حبس أنفاس شهود العيان؛ فمع انقلاب الشاحنة الضخمة واستقرارها مقلوبة وسط المياه، بدا الأمر وكأن النهر قد ابتلع من كان على متنها، وتأكد غرق ثلاثة أشخاص في مجرى النهر لحظة السقوط المأساوي، لتنطلق على الفور عمليات إنقاذ مكثفة تسابق الزمن.
وبجهود مضنية، نجحت فرق الإنقاذ في انتشال شخصين من وسط المياه وصراعهما مع الموت ليُكتب لهما عمر جديد، في حين لا يزال الراكب الثالث مفقوداً تحت ركام الحافلة أو جرفته التيارات المائية. ووفقاً لما نقلته وكالة «شفق نيوز» العراقية، التي نشرت صوراً قاسية للحافلة وهي غارقة تماماً ومقلوبة، فإن فرق الغواصين والإنقاذ تكثف عمليات البحث في النهر على أمل العثور على المفقود الأخير.
In a fleeting moment, a peaceful journey on the roads of the Kurdistan region of Iraq turned into a horrific nightmare, after a large bus veered off its path and shockingly fell into the embrace of a river flowing near the village of "Razan" in Erbil Governorate.
The accident that occurred yesterday (Saturday) took the breath away from eyewitnesses; as the massive truck overturned and settled upside down in the water, it seemed as if the river had swallowed those on board. Three people were confirmed drowned in the river at the moment of the tragic fall, prompting immediate and intense rescue operations racing against time.
With arduous efforts, rescue teams succeeded in retrieving two individuals from the water, who were battling for their lives, granting them a new lease on life, while the third passenger remains missing beneath the wreckage of the bus or swept away by the currents. According to reports from the Iraqi news agency "Shafaq News," which published harrowing images of the bus completely submerged and overturned, diving and rescue teams are intensifying their search operations in the river in hopes of finding the last missing person.
