تحولت رحلة جوية تقل ركاباً بريطانيين من تركيا إلى مدينة مانشستر، إلى مشهد من الفوضى والرعب، بعدما اندلع شجار جماعي عنيف على متن الطائرة، أجبرها على تنفيذ هبوط اضطراري في بروكسل مساء أمس (الخميس).
وأظهرت مقاطع فيديو متداولة لحظات صادمة لركاب يتبادلون اللكمات ويتصارعون في ممر الطائرة، وسط صراخ المسافرين ومحاولات بعضهم التدخل لفض الاشتباك، وسرعان ما امتدت الفوضى إلى أنحاء المقصورة، حيث وجد عدد من العائلات وكبار السن أنفسهم عالقين في أجواء من الذعر والاضطراب.
خلاف حول تشغيل موسيقى
تعود تفاصيل الواقعة إلى الرحلة رقم LS896 التابعة لشركة طيران Jet2 والتي كانت قادمة من أنطاليا في تركيا إلى مانشستر في بريطانيا، وشهدت اندلاع شجار داخل مقصورة الطائرة أثناء الرحلة، حيث بدأ بخلاف حول تشغيل موسيقى بصوت عالٍ، ثم حاول أحد الركاب انتزاع هاتف آخر، مما أدى إلى تصعيد سريع وتبادل اللكمات والمصارعة في الممر الرئيسي. لتنتشر الفوضى بسرعة في المقصورة، مع صرخات الركاب وخوف العائلات والأطفال والمسنين الذين وجدوا أنفسهم وسط المعركة.
دماء وأسنان على الأرض
وبحسب تقارير إعلامية وصف شهود عيان المشهد بأنه عنيف وغير مسبوق، مشيرين إلى وجود بقع دماء على المقاعد وتناثر أسنان على أرضية الطائرة نتيجة الاشتباكات، وقال أحد الركاب: «في لحظة ما أصبح الأمر جسدياً بشكل كامل، كان الناس خائفين ومتوترين، وتحولت الأجواء إلى حالة من الفوضى العارمة».
ووفقاً لروايات مسافرين، بدأ التوتر عندما حاول أحد الركاب انتزاع هاتف من آخر، قبل أن تتصاعد الأمور سريعاً، كما زعم ركاب أن أحد الموقوفين كان في حالة سُكر شديد وأطلق عبارات عنصرية، ثم دخل في مشادة مع طاقم الضيافة بسبب السجائر، ما أدى إلى تفجر الموقف.
تدخل الشرطة واعتقالات
وعقب الهبوط الاضطراري في بروكسل، صعدت الشرطة إلى الطائرة واحتجزت شخصين على خلفية الحادث، وبعد التعامل مع الواقعة، استأنفت الطائرة رحلتها إلى مانشستر.
من جهتها، وصفت شركة الطيران Jet2 سلوك المتورطين بأنه «مشين»، مؤكدة أن جميع المشاركين في أعمال العنف سيُمنعون من السفر على متن رحلاتها مدى الحياة.
شهادة الطيار
وفي رسالة للركاب بعد استقرار الوضع، قال قائد الطائرة إنه خلال 30 عاماً من الطيران لم يضطر إلى تنفيذ سوى عدد محدود جداً من عمليات الهبوط الاضطراري، مضيفاً أنه لم يشهد من قبل حادثة عنف بهذا الحجم على متن طائرة.
وأشاد بعض المسافرين برد فعل الركاب الذين تدخلوا لاحتواء الموقف، وكذلك بتصرف طاقم الطائرة الذي تعامل بحسب وصفهم بهدوء واحترافية رغم الظروف الصعبة.

The chaos quickly spread throughout the cabin, where several families and elderly passengers found themselves caught in an atmosphere of panic and disorder.
Dispute over playing music
The incident details relate to flight number LS896 operated by Jet2, which was coming from Antalya in Turkey to Manchester in the UK. A fight broke out in the cabin during the flight, starting with a dispute over playing loud music. Then, one passenger attempted to snatch another's phone, leading to a rapid escalation with punches and wrestling in the main aisle. The chaos quickly spread throughout the cabin, with the screams of passengers and the fear of families, children, and the elderly who found themselves in the midst of the battle.
Blood and teeth on the floor
According to media reports, witnesses described the scene as violent and unprecedented, noting the presence of bloodstains on the seats and teeth scattered on the floor of the plane as a result of the clashes. One passenger said, "At one point, it became completely physical; people were scared and tense, and the atmosphere turned into a state of utter chaos."
According to accounts from travelers, the tension began when one passenger tried to snatch a phone from another before things escalated quickly. Passengers claimed that one of the detained individuals was heavily intoxicated and made racist remarks, then got into an argument with the cabin crew over cigarettes, which led to the situation exploding.
Police intervention and arrests
Following the emergency landing in Brussels, police boarded the plane and detained two individuals in connection with the incident. After dealing with the situation, the flight resumed its journey to Manchester.
For its part, Jet2 described the behavior of those involved as "disgraceful," confirming that all participants in the violent acts would be banned from traveling on its flights for life.
Captain's testimony
In a message to passengers after the situation stabilized, the captain stated that in his 30 years of flying, he had only had to perform a very limited number of emergency landings, adding that he had never witnessed an incident of violence of this magnitude on board a plane.
Some travelers praised the response of passengers who intervened to contain the situation, as well as the actions of the cabin crew, who handled the situation with calmness and professionalism despite the difficult circumstances.
