واصل فريق الخليج لكرة اليد صدارته للدوري الممتاز بعد فوزه على منافسه المباشر الأهلي بنتيجة 31–27، في اللقاء الجماهيري الذي أقيم على صالة الدمام، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة عشرة من البطولة.
وعزّز الخليج موقعه في صدارة الترتيب بعدما رفع رصيده إلى 26 نقطة، مبتعدًا في القمة، فيما تراجع الأهلي إلى المركز الثالث برصيد 20 نقطة. وفي المقابل، تقدّم فريق الهدى إلى المركز الثاني برصيد 21 نقطة عقب فوزه على جاره النور بنتيجة 26–24 في مواجهة قوية ومثيرة.
ويحتل النور المركز الرابع برصيد 16 نقطة متساويًا مع مضر صاحب المركز الخامس، في ظل اشتداد المنافسة على مراكز المقدمة مع دخول الدوري مراحله الحاسمة.

The Al-Khaleej handball team continued to lead the Premier League after defeating their direct competitor, Al-Ahli, with a score of 31–27 in a public match held at the Dammam Hall, as part of the fourteenth round of the championship.
Al-Khaleej strengthened its position at the top of the standings, raising its points to 26, pulling away at the summit, while Al-Ahli dropped to third place with 20 points. Meanwhile, Al-Huda advanced to second place with 21 points after defeating their neighbor, Al-Noor, with a score of 26–24 in a strong and exciting match.
Al-Noor occupies fourth place with 16 points, tied with Mudar, who is in fifth place, amid intensifying competition for the top positions as the league enters its decisive stages.
Al-Khaleej is now closer to retaining the title of the Premier Handball League, which they won in the past three seasons, confirming their determination to continue their positive results and steadily move towards maintaining the title.
