أعلنت السلطات في السلفادور عن إصدار أحكام سجن مشددة بحق المئات من عناصر عصابة «مارا سالفاتروتشا» المعروفة اختصارا بـ«إم إس-13».
وتعد هذه القضية، واحدة من أضخم القضايا الجنائية المرتبطة بالجريمة المنظمة في تاريخ السلفادور، حيث بلغت مدد العقوبات بحق بعض المدانين أرقامًا غير مسبوقة تجاوزت الألف عام.
وذكر مكتب المدعي العام، في بيان نشره عبر منصة «إكس»، أن 248 عنصرًا من العصابة تلقوا ما وصفه بـ«أحكام رادعة»، بعد إدانتهم بالضلوع في 43 جريمة قتل، و42 حالة إخفاء قسري، إلى جانب سلسلة من الجرائم الخطيرة الأخرى التي هزت الأمن العام خلال سنوات.
وأوضح البيان أن أحد المدانين صدر بحقه حكم بالسجن لمدة 1335 عامًا، بينما راوحت الأحكام الصادرة بحق عشرة آخرين بين 463 و958 عامًا، من دون الكشف عن توقيت إصدار هذه الأحكام أو ما إذا كانت المحاكمات قد أُجريت بشكل جماعي.

This case is one of the largest criminal cases related to organized crime in the history of El Salvador, with some convicted individuals receiving unprecedented sentences exceeding a thousand years.
The Attorney General's Office stated in a statement published on the "X" platform that 248 gang members received what it described as "deterrent sentences" after being convicted of involvement in 43 murders, 42 cases of enforced disappearance, along with a series of other serious crimes that shook public security over the years.
The statement clarified that one of the convicted individuals received a prison sentence of 1,335 years, while the sentences for ten others ranged between 463 and 958 years, without disclosing when these sentences were issued or whether the trials were conducted collectively.
