ضرب زلزال بقوة 5 درجات على مقياس ريختر اليوم، مقاطعة «دافاو أوكسيدنتال» جنوب الفلبين.
وأفاد المعهد الفلبيني لعلم البراكين والزلازل في بيانه، بأن مركز الزلزال وقع على بعد 80 كيلومترًا من بلدة «سارانجاني» الواقعة في المقاطعة، وعلى عمق 100 كيلومتر.
ولم ترد أنباء عن وقوع خسائر بشرية أو أضرار مادية جراء الزلزال.
وتشهد الفلبين نشاطًا بركانيًا وزلزاليًا متزايدًا، نظرًا لوقوعها على «حزام النار» في المحيط الهادي، حيث تتقاطع الصفائح التكتونية.
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck today in the province of "Davao Occidental" in southern Philippines.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported in its statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 80 kilometers from the town of "Sarangani" in the province, at a depth of 100 kilometers.
