وأظهرت ملفات التحديث الأخير للتطبيق، بحسب خبراء تحليل التطبيقات على «أندرويد»، أن المزايا تشمل: واجهة مستخدم جديدة سهلة التصفح، وخيار وضع الترجمة بين السريع والمتقدم، إذ يعتمد الوضع المتقدم على نموذج «جيميناي» لترجمة النصوص وشرحها بدقة أكبر، إضافة إلى وضع ممارسة اللغة الذي يستخدم الألعاب والجوائز لتشجيع التعلم على غرار «دولينغو» الذي يمتلك أكثر من 100 مليون مستخدم نشط شهريًا. كما عززت «قوقل» قدرات الترجمة الفورية عبر منتجاتها الأخرى، مثل نظارة الواقع المعزز «أندرويد إكس آر» وهاتف Pixel Fold الذي يوفر ترجمة مباشرة بفضل تصميمه ذي الشاشتين. ويتيح التحديث الجديد أيضًا ميزة الترجمة الفورية وكتابة النصوص على مقاطع الفيديو في «يوتيوب»، لتسهيل متابعة المحتوى بمختلف اللغات، رغم أن الميزة تعمل حاليًا مع الترجمة إلى الإنجليزية فقط. ويأتي هذا التطوير في وقت يتزايد فيه التنافس بين تطبيقات الترجمة وتعليم اللغات، خصوصا مع تقدم نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي مثل «شات جي بي تي»، ما يجعل تحديث قوقل خطوة مهمة لتعزيز موقعها بين المستخدمين، مستفيدة من انتشارها المباشر على هواتف أندرويد ومتصفحات كروم.

The recent update files for the app, according to app analysis experts on "Android," show that the features include: a new user interface that is easy to navigate, and an option for translation mode between fast and advanced, where the advanced mode relies on the "Gemini" model for translating and explaining texts more accurately. Additionally, there is a language practice mode that uses games and rewards to encourage learning, similar to "Duolingo," which has over 100 million active users monthly. Google has also enhanced instant translation capabilities through its other products, such as the augmented reality glasses "Android XR" and the Pixel Fold phone, which provides direct translation thanks to its dual-screen design. The new update also allows for instant translation and text writing on YouTube videos, making it easier to follow content in various languages, although the feature currently works only with translations into English. This development comes at a time when competition is increasing among translation and language learning apps, especially with the advancement of artificial intelligence models like "ChatGPT," making Google's update an important step to strengthen its position among users, benefiting from its direct presence on Android phones and Chrome browsers.
