شنَّ مدافع منتخب فرنسا السابق عادل رامي هجوماً لاذعاً على نجم برشلونة ومنتخب إسبانيا الشاب لامين يامال، منتقداً سلوكه داخل الملعب وخارجه.
وقال رامي في تصريحات نشرتها شبكة «فوت ميركاتو» الفرنسية: «من الناحية الكروية، هو نجم بلا شك، وسيفوز بالكرة الذهبية وكؤوس أوروبا وكل شيء تقريباً».
وتابع: «لكن من الجانب الإنساني، لم أعد أحتمل وجوده، الطريقة التي صافح بها كريستيانو رونالدو خلال مباراة إسبانيا والبرتغال في نهائي دوري الأمم الأوروبية أغضبتني، إلى جانب تصرفاته الغريبة، مثل نزع سرواله القصير، أعرف تماماً لماذا يفعل بعض الرجال ذلك ومن أين جاءت هذه العادة، إنها عادة تعود إلى السجون في الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك».
وختم: «هناك أيضاً الحفلات الصاخبة التي يقيمها والتي يتحدث عنها الجميع، وارتداؤه ملابس فاخرة مرصعة بالألماس، إنه يظن نفسه أمريكياً، وهذا مزعج للغاية».
Former France national team defender Adil Rami launched a scathing attack on Barcelona and Spain's young star Lamine Yamal, criticizing his behavior both on and off the field.
Rami said in statements published by the French network "Foot Mercato": "From a footballing perspective, he is undoubtedly a star, and he will win the Ballon d'Or and European Cups and almost everything."
He continued: "But from a human perspective, I can no longer tolerate his presence. The way he shook hands with Cristiano Ronaldo during the Spain vs. Portugal match in the UEFA Nations League final angered me, along with his strange behaviors, like pulling down his shorts. I know exactly why some men do that and where this habit comes from; it is a habit that dates back to prisons in the United States and Mexico."
He concluded: "There are also the loud parties he throws that everyone talks about, and his wearing of luxurious diamond-studded clothes. He thinks of himself as American, and that is extremely annoying."
