كشفت تحاليل معملية أجريت لسائق سيارة النقل الثقيل المتسبب في الحادث المأساوي على الطريق الدائري الإقليمي بمركز أشمون في محافظة المنوفية، في مصر، عن إيجابية تعاطيه لمواد مخدرة ومنشطات قبل الحادث الذي وقع صباح الجمعة.
وألقت الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن المنوفية القبض على السائق الهارب بعد الحادث، وأحالته إلى النيابة العامة التي قررت حبسه 4 أيام على ذمة التحقيقات، بسبب الحادث الذي أسفر عن مصرع 19 شخصاً، معظمهم فتيات وسائق الميكروباص، وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين، اثنان منهم في حالة حرجة.
وأفاد السائق في اعترافاته أن عجلة القيادة اختلت بيده بسبب السرعة الزائدة، مما أدى إلى اختراق الشاحنة للحواجز والاصطدام بميكروباص يُقل عمالاً يوميين من قرية كفر السنابسة، في طريقهم إلى حقل لقطف العنب أو أعمال في مدينة السادات.
ووجه الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي بصرف تعويضات عاجلة قدرها 100 ألف جنيه لأسرة كل متوفى و25 ألف جنيه لكل مصاب، إضافة إلى تعويضات من وزارتي العمل والتضامن الاجتماعي، حيث تصل تعويضات العمالة غير المنتظمة إلى 200 ألف جنيه لكل أسرة متوفى و20 ألف جنيه لكل مصاب.
ووقع الحادث المروع على الطريق الدائري الإقليمي أمام قرية مؤنسة التابعة لمركز أشمون، حيث اصطدمت شاحنة نقل ثقيل (تريلا) محملة بالسولار بميكروباص يقل 18 فتاة وسائقًا، مما أدى إلى تحطم الميكروباص بالكامل ومصرع جميع ركابه تقريباً.
نقلت سيارات الإسعاف الجثامين والمصابين إلى مستشفيات أشمون العام، قويسنا المركزي، الباجور التخصصي، وسرس الليان، حيث أُعلنت حالة الطوارئ القصوى واستدعيت فرق طبية إضافية، وهز الحادث قرية كفر السنابسة، حيث شهدت جنازة جماعية لحظات من الانهيار والإغماء بين الأهالي، وسط توافدهم بمئات على المستشفيات للتعرف على ذويهم.
يُعرف الطريق الدائري الإقليمي في محافظة المنوفية بـ«طريق الموت»، بسبب حوادثه المتكررة، حيث شهد في اليوم التالي، السبت 28 يونيو، حادثًا آخر بانقلاب سيارة أمن مركزي أسفر عن إصابات بين المجندين.
Laboratory analyses conducted on the driver of the heavy transport vehicle responsible for the tragic accident on the regional circular road in Ashmun Center, Menoufia Governorate, Egypt, revealed a positive result for the use of narcotics and stimulants prior to the accident that occurred on Friday morning.
The security forces of the Menoufia Security Directorate arrested the fleeing driver after the accident and referred him to the public prosecution, which decided to detain him for 4 days pending investigations, due to the accident that resulted in the death of 19 people, most of whom were girls and the microbus driver, and the injury of three others, two of whom are in critical condition.
The driver stated in his confessions that he lost control of the steering wheel due to excessive speed, which led to the truck breaching the barriers and colliding with a microbus carrying daily workers from the village of Kafr Al-Sanabisa, on their way to a vineyard or work in Sadat City.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed the disbursement of immediate compensation amounting to 100,000 Egyptian pounds for the family of each deceased and 25,000 pounds for each injured person, in addition to compensations from the Ministries of Labor and Social Solidarity, where compensations for irregular workers reach 200,000 pounds for each deceased family and 20,000 pounds for each injured person.
The horrific accident occurred on the regional circular road in front of the village of Mounisa, affiliated with Ashmun Center, where a heavy transport truck (trailer) loaded with diesel collided with a microbus carrying 18 girls and a driver, resulting in the complete destruction of the microbus and the death of nearly all its passengers.
Ambulances transported the bodies and the injured to Ashmun General Hospital, Quesna Central Hospital, Al-Bagour Specialized Hospital, and Sars El-Liyan, where a state of maximum emergency was declared and additional medical teams were summoned. The accident shook the village of Kafr Al-Sanabisa, which witnessed a mass funeral with moments of collapse and fainting among the residents, as hundreds flocked to the hospitals to identify their relatives.
The regional circular road in Menoufia Governorate is known as the "Road of Death," due to its recurring accidents, as it witnessed another accident the following day, Saturday, June 28, when a Central Security vehicle overturned, resulting in injuries among the conscripts.
