انتصر القادسية على ضيفه النجمة بثلاثة أهداف لهدف في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد الأمير محمد بن فهد بالدمام في ختام لقاءات الجولة الأولى من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
أحرز أهداف القادسية الثلاثة ماتيو ريتيغي (هدفين د:5، 90+5) وجوليان كينيونيس (د:45)، فيما أحرز هدف النجمة علي جاسم (د:54).
شهد اللقاء بداية سريعة من القادسية إذ لعب تركي العمار كرة عرضية عالية قفز لها ماتيو ريتيغي ولعبها برأسه على يسار الحارس وليد العنزي هدفاً أول للقادسية (د:5)، وواصل القادسية ضغطه ومن هجمة منظمة انطلق ناهيتان نانديز من الجهة اليسرى ومرر كرة أرضية داخل منطقة الـ18 ليلعبها جوليان كينيونيس في المرمى هدفاً ثانياً للقادسية (د:45). وفي الشوط الثاني تمكن النجمة من العودة للقاء بتقليص الفارق ويسجل أول أهدافه في دوري المحترفين بعد كرة عرضية من عبدالإله الشمري لزميله دي سوزا الذي استقبلها ومررها للبديل العراقي علي جاسم ليسددها مباشرةً في المرمى هدفاً للنجمة (د:54)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع أضاف القادسية الهدف الثالث بعد عرضية من ناهيتان نانديز ليلعبها ريتيغي برأسه ولكن الحارس العنزي تصدى لها لتصل لمحمد أبو الشامات الذي مررها لريتيغي ليسددها في المرمى هدفاً شخصياً ثانياً له وثالثاً لفريقه (د:90+5)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز القادسية بثلاثة أهداف لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق القادسية فوزه الأول ويحصد النقاط الثلاث، وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة مضيّفه الهلال، فيما تلقى النجمة الخسارة الأولى وبقي دون نقاط، وسيحل ضيفاً على الرياض في الجولة القادمة.

Al-Qadisiyah defeated their guest Al-Najma with a score of three goals to one in the match that took place at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, concluding the first round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
Al-Qadisiyah's three goals were scored by Matteo Retegui (two goals at minutes 5 and 90+5) and Julian Quinones (minute 45), while Al-Najma's goal was scored by Ali Jassim (minute 54).
The match began quickly for Al-Qadisiyah as Turki Al-Amar played a high cross that Matteo Retegui jumped for and headed to the left of goalkeeper Walid Al-Anzi, scoring the first goal for Al-Qadisiyah (minute 5). Al-Qadisiyah continued to apply pressure, and from an organized attack, Nahitan Nandez launched from the left side and passed a ground ball into the 18-yard box for Julian Quinones to score the second goal for Al-Qadisiyah (minute 45). In the second half, Al-Najma managed to return to the match by narrowing the gap and scoring their first goal in the Professional League after a cross from Abdulilah Al-Shammari to his teammate De Souza, who received it and passed it to substitute Iraqi Ali Jassim, who shot it directly into the net, scoring a goal for Al-Najma (minute 54). In stoppage time, Al-Qadisiyah added their third goal after a cross from Nahitan Nandez, which Retegui headed, but goalkeeper Al-Anzi saved it, allowing it to reach Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, who passed it back to Retegui to shoot it into the net for his second personal goal and the third for his team (minute 90+5), ending the match with Al-Qadisiyah winning three goals to one.
With this result, Al-Qadisiyah achieves their first victory and collects three points, and they will face their host Al-Hilal in the next round, while Al-Najma suffers their first loss and remains without points, and they will be guests of Al-Riyadh in the next round.
