يستهل المنتخب السعودي للدراجات «شباب، كبار، سيدات»، غدًا مشاركته في منافسات بطولة كأس آسيا للمضمار 2025، التي تستضيفها مدينة سوفان بوري التايلندية، حتى الـ(30) من أغسطس الحالي، بمشاركة أكثر من (13) منتخبًا آسيويًا و(137) لاعبًا ولاعبة.
وضمت قائمة الأخضر بقيادة المدرب الجزائري عبدالباسط حناشي (11) دراجًا هم: عزام العبدالمنعم، وأحمد أبو عبدالله، ومحمد مجرشي، ووائل يماني، وطه الخليفة، وصالح آل زايد، وحسين آل صفر، وسليمان جعفري، ومشاعل الحازمي, ورزان زادة، ومروج عادل.
يُذكر أن المنتخب السعودي أقام معسكرًا إعداديًا على ثلاث مراحل الأولى في مدينة أبها، والثانية في سلوفاكيا، والثالثة في ماليزيا، وسعى الجهاز الفني من خلال تلك المراحل إلى رفع المعدل اللياقي، والانسجام وتطبيق الجمل التكتيكية ورفع معدل السرعات.
وعلى ذات الصعيد، عُقد اليوم الاجتماع الفني للبطولة، إذ تم التأكد من أهلية اللاعبين، واعتماد الجدول الزمني للسباقات، واستعراض التحديثات الفنية الأخيرة.

The Saudi cycling team "Youth, Seniors, Women" will begin its participation in the 2025 Asian Track Cycling Championships tomorrow, which is being hosted in the city of Suphan Buri, Thailand, until August 30 of this month, with the participation of more than 13 Asian teams and 137 male and female athletes.
The list of the green team, led by Algerian coach Abdelbasset Hanachi, includes 11 cyclists: Izzam Al-Abdul-Mun'im, Ahmad Abu Abdullah, Mohammed Majrashi, Wael Yamani, Taha Al-Khalifa, Saleh Al-Zayed, Hussein Al-Safar, Suleiman Jafari, Mushail Al-Hazmi, Razan Zada, and Marouj Adel.
It is worth mentioning that the Saudi team held a preparatory camp in three phases: the first in the city of Abha, the second in Slovakia, and the third in Malaysia. The coaching staff aimed through these phases to improve fitness levels, team cohesion, implement tactical drills, and increase speed levels.
On the same note, the technical meeting for the championship was held today, where the eligibility of the athletes was confirmed, the race schedule was approved, and the latest technical updates were reviewed.
