وبهذه الركلة، ارتفع عدد ركلات الجزاء التي نفذها ميسي في كأس العالم إلى 8 ركلات، سجل منها 4 أهداف وأهدر 4، لتصل نسبة نجاحه إلى 50% فقط عبر مشاركاته في المونديال.
