أُغلق باب الترشح لرئاسة وعضوية مجلس إدارة نادي الوحدة بعد مخاض عسير شهد تراجع بعض الأسماء وانسحابات في اللحظات الأخيرة، ليتأكد ترشح 3 قوائم بشكل رسمي على كرسي الرئاسة، هي؛ قائمة الدكتور تركي مدخلي، قائمة الدكتور عبدالهادي اليامي، قائمة الرئيس السابق حازم اللحياني.
وكشفت مصادر خاصة لـ«عكاظ» أن شخصيات خاطبت وزارة الرياضة بطلب تحويل مديونيات مستحقة لها على النادي إلى عضويات «ذهبية» بهدف دعم قائمة حازم اللحياني انتخابياً.
وأضافت المصادر أن الوزارة تحفظت على الطلب، مؤكدة رغبتها في إدارة انتخابات الوحدة على قاعدة «فليتنافس المتنافسون» ووفق اللوائح المعمول بها، دون استحداث استثناءات تؤثر على نزاهة العملية الانتخابية.
وتبدأ لجنة الانتخابات اعتباراً من غد (الأربعاء) لمدة 5 أيام بفحص ملفات القوائم الثلاث والتأكد من استيفائها الشروط، على أن يتم الإعلان رسمياً عن القائمة الفائزة الأحد القادم.
The nomination for the presidency and membership of the board of directors of Al-Wahda Club has closed after a difficult process that saw some names withdraw and others step back at the last moment, confirming the official candidacy of 3 lists for the presidency: the list of Dr. Turki Madkhali, the list of Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Yami, and the list of former president Hazem Al-Luhayani.
Sources told "Okaz" that certain figures have approached the Ministry of Sports requesting to convert debts owed to them by the club into "golden" memberships in order to support Hazem Al-Luhayani's electoral list.
The sources added that the ministry has reserved its position on the request, affirming its desire to manage the Al-Wahda elections on the principle of "let the competitors compete" and according to the applicable regulations, without creating exceptions that could affect the integrity of the electoral process.
The election committee will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) for a period of 5 days to review the files of the three lists and ensure they meet the requirements, with the official announcement of the winning list to be made next Sunday.
