تأهل منتخب سورية إلى النهائيات بعد فوزه على طاجيكستان المضيفة 1-0 اليوم (الثلاثاء) على استاد الجمهورية المركزي في دوشانبي، ضمن الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة من منافسات المجموعة الـ11 في تصفيات كأس آسيا تحت 23 عاماً 2026 في المملكة العربية السعودية.
وسجل البديل محمد السركبي هدف الفوز لصالح المنتخب السوري في الدقيقة السادسة من الوقت بدل الضائع للشوط الثاني.
وشهدت المباراة الثانية ضمن المجموعة ذاتها فوز الفلبين على نيبال 4-0 على الملعب نفسه، وسجل أوتو باناتاو (د:32) وخافيير ماريونا (د:39 من ضربة جزاء) والبديل دوف كارينو (د:81) وساندرو ريس (د:85) أهداف الفوز للفلبين.
وتصدر منتخب سورية ترتيب المجموعة برصيد 9 نقاط كاملة من ثلاث مباريات، مقابل 6 نقاط للفلبين، و3 لطاجيكستان، في حين بقي رصيد نيبال خالياً من النقاط.
وحصل المنتخب السوري على بطاقة التأهل المباشر عن المجموعة إلى النهائيات، في حين ينتظر منتخب الفلبين تحديد أفضل أربعة منتخبات حاصلة على المركز الثاني.

The Syrian national team qualified for the finals after defeating the host Tajikistan 1-0 today (Tuesday) at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe, in the third and final round of Group 11 in the qualifiers for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Substitute Mohammad Al-Sarkabi scored the winning goal for the Syrian team in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the second half.
In the second match of the same group, the Philippines won against Nepal 4-0 at the same stadium, with Otto Banatao (32'), Javier Mariona (39' from a penalty), substitute Dov Carino (81'), and Sandro Ries (85') scoring the goals for the Philippines.
The Syrian team topped the group standings with a total of 9 points from three matches, compared to 6 points for the Philippines and 3 for Tajikistan, while Nepal remained without any points.
The Syrian team secured a direct qualification spot from the group to the finals, while the Philippines awaits the determination of the best four second-placed teams.
