اعتمد مجلس إدارة الاتحاد العربي للدراجات في اجتماعه الأول لعام 2025، الذي عُقد «عن بُعد»، تعيين عبدالعزيز الشهراني نائباً أول لرئيس الاتحاد العربي للدراجات للفترة (2025 – 2028)، وتعيين المغربي محمد كاتم نائباً ثانياً للرئيس، فيما تم اختيار القطرية فاطمة الغانم بمنصب نائب الرئيس عن العنصر النسوي.
ويعمل الاتحاد العربي للدراجات، الذي تأسس عام 1975 تحت مظلة اتحاد اللجان الأولمبية الوطنية العربية، على الارتقاء برياضة الدراجات العربية والوصول بها إلى أفضل المراتب، وقد شهد الاتحاد في يوليو 2018 نقلة نوعية تمثلت في اعتراف الاتحاد الدولي للدراجات رسمياً ببطولاته وسباقاته واعتبارها ضمن البطولات الرسمية المعتمدة على غرار البطولات الدولية والعالمية.
وخلال مسيرة الاتحاد العربي الممتدة إلى نصف قرن، تعاقب على رئاسته أربعة رؤساء، بدءاً من الأمير بندر بن عبدالرحمن بن عبدالعزيز، ثم الدكتور خالد التركي، تلاه الشيخ فيصل بن حميد القاسمي، وصولاً إلى الرئيس الحالي الدكتور ياسر الدوخي، وكان مقر الاتحاد في العاصمة الرياض، ثم القاهرة، وانتقل لاحقاً إلى دبي، ليستقر في مقره الحالي بإمارة الشارقة.

The Board of Directors of the Arab Cycling Federation, in its first meeting of 2025, which was held "remotely," appointed Abdulaziz Al-Shahrani as the First Vice President of the Arab Cycling Federation for the term (2025 – 2028), and appointed the Moroccan Mohamed Katem as the Second Vice President, while the Qatari Fatima Al-Ghanem was chosen for the position of Vice President for the women's element.
The Arab Cycling Federation, which was established in 1975 under the umbrella of the Arab National Olympic Committees, works to elevate Arab cycling and reach the best ranks. In July 2018, the federation witnessed a qualitative leap with the official recognition by the International Cycling Union of its championships and races, considering them among the officially approved championships similar to international and world championships.
Throughout the Arab Federation's journey spanning half a century, four presidents have succeeded one another, starting with Prince Bandar bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, then Dr. Khalid Al-Turki, followed by Sheikh Faisal bin Hamid Al-Qasimi, up to the current president, Dr. Yasser Al-Doukhi. The federation's headquarters was initially in the capital Riyadh, then moved to Cairo, and later to Dubai, finally settling in its current headquarters in the Emirate of Sharjah.
