حقق منتخبنا الوطني السعودي للناشئين والناشئات لألعاب القوى 7 ميداليات ملونة في اليوم الأول للبطولة العربية الـ11 للناشئين والناشئات التي تستضيفها تونس حتى 27 أغسطس الجاري.
وكان النصيب الأكبر من الميداليات الملونة الميداليات الذهبية إذ حقق نجوم الأخضر 4 منها وميدالية فضية وبرونزيتين.
حقق حسن عيسى حقوي المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في سباق 110م حواجز بزمن 13.71ث، وتُوج مشعل عبدالله هزازي بالمركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في سباق 400م بزمن 47.27ث، وحصد مبارك سالم اليامي المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في سباق 100م بزمن 10.56ث، كما حقق عبدالرحمن آدم المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في منافسات الوثب الطويل بقفزةٍ بلغت 7.05 متر.
وفي مسابقة رمي القرص نال محمد عيسى السبيعي الميدالية الفضية محققاً رقماً جديداً برمية بلغت مسافة 53.60م، فيما تمكَّن زايد البيشي من حصد المركز الثالث والميدالية البرونزية مسجِّلًا مسافةً قدرها 17.27 متر في مسابقة دفع الجلة، وحصد فيصل الأسمري المركز الثالث والميدالية البرونزية في سباق 100م بزمن 10.76ث.

The Saudi national team for junior boys and girls in athletics achieved 7 colored medals on the first day of the 11th Arab Championship for Juniors, which is being hosted in Tunisia until August 27.
The largest share of the colored medals were gold medals, as the stars of the green team secured 4 of them, along with one silver and two bronze medals.
Hassan Isa Haqwi won first place and the gold medal in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.71 seconds, while Mishal Abdullah Hazazi was crowned first and won the gold medal in the 400m with a time of 47.27 seconds. Mubarak Salem Al-Yami also achieved first place and the gold medal in the 100m with a time of 10.56 seconds, and Abdulrahman Adam secured first place and the gold medal in the long jump with a leap of 7.05 meters.
In the discus throw competition, Mohammed Isa Al-Subaie won the silver medal, achieving a new record with a throw of 53.60 meters. Meanwhile, Zayed Al-Bishi managed to secure third place and the bronze medal, recording a distance of 17.27 meters in the shot put competition. Faisal Al-Asmeri also won third place and the bronze medal in the 100m with a time of 10.76 seconds.
